Really? I always thought Missy Elloit was good. Maybe I'm the minority :-\
And Timbaland is one hell of a producer and has a deep deep catalog.
If Timberland is reaching into that deep, deep catalog he's either doing his old-school stuff without Magoo (which is just wrong), or he's playing other people's songs that he produced, which is just a guest DJ set.
I remember my friends forcing me to watch "i can't stand the rain" over and over when I was little. And then I was told NWA (which my cousin gave me) was "trash" by comparison.
They were never going to be the first name imo. Phish x2 - Radiohead - RHCP. That gives us three unopposed slots, and a LN What show as well. Unless the top line just has something crazy in it like Waits I think this is what we will see.
Friday Radiohead 9:30-12:30
Saturday RHCP 8:30-11:00 Phish 1-4
Sunday Phish 9-12
I would love for the RHCP to play Which and NY&CY to have that spot, but honestly it does not seem that realistic to me.
I've said this before but I just don't see how Phish can go from playing 2 nights on a reunion tour in 09 and being billed 2nd to being a top billed act this year. That would be a big disappointment IMO
I still think we get another headliner before RHCP and RHCP is a LN Which or pre-Radiohead.
i definitely think there is a fourth 'headliner' 'big act' or whatever you want to call it. with the fact that we already know the headliners, bonnaroo is definitely going to want to throw something big in there that people don't already know about.

I'm just hoping there will be some big surprises so we all will go "HOLY FUCK" "YES YES YES" "SUCK ON THAT COACHELLA AND PRIMAVERA" instead of "Oh, we knew this already"
With the new Sigur Ros performance scheduled do you think they could possibly be that 4th name?
Nope 4th name is Jack White with a possibility of Paul Simon.
Hahaha, sigur ros at 4ht spot? hahaha I think I just pissed myself a little. 4th spot? We're talking about Bonnaroo correct? Oh well the Fruit bats are like 30th on Electrtic Forests lineup, do you think they'll get the 4th spot? hahahaha lmfao.

But I'm more aiming at bands that we are not thinking of. Like reunions or fun curated tents.
Rap is regional - especially during the 90's - Missy & NWA are two totally different sides of the coin. Missy Elliot represented the ATL-party music coming out from the South / NWA was directly influenced by street violence / economic issues of the time.
Beep Me 911 because Missy's show has gotten raved reviews from the folks I know who have seen her. And one of those performances included her [doing] the whole show in a car/chair because of an injury. so..
