...Knowing that Weir, Green and Robinson trio are playing Wakarusu gives me hope they'll be at Roo and maybe Keller Williams too so I can get my Dead fix!
I'll take any form of Chris Robinson I can get! Needless to say even that trio wouldn't headline Bonnaroo.
Watched some footage of an old Sabbath show today. Oh how I wish we could somehow get Black Sabbath, though it's almost 100% impossible considering they have an off day between 2 UK shows. Ah I feel as if I'm contradicting myself now how I bashed their live performances yesterday but hell. Black Sabbath would be awesome, even if they were half awake and Ozzy was half understandable. I mean come on, almost all of us grew up listening to these guys; they're living legends no doubt, and now is one of the last times to ever catch them live.
Has anyone mentioned Jack White as a potential headliner? He's got a solo-album coming out in April and he could practically walk to Manchester... Would be be a headliner this year?

To be honest, I had thought about it when making a prediction line-up, but I just don't see. Don't get me wrong, Jack White is a musical genius that sh*ts on 99% of the industry, but still I don't see it happening... unless it is released before Roo and becomes a national #1 hit record, then you never know. (though i do hope it does)
But then again Paul Simon is a possible HL so I don't know. He's just another one of those great musical legends who can range in popularity depending on the crowd.
I think a Jack White featuring: The Third Man Band, Alison Mosshart, Brendan Benson, Wanda Jackson, and Loretta Lynn super show could hold the weight to be a Headliner. I don't think it's entirely unlikely, either.
As much as I prefer Jack White over RHCP, it's a no. Sadly, RHCP is definitely 10x bigger than Jack White. Even if he was with the White Stripes, RHCP still wins that battle.
Paul Simon would definitely headline if booked. He is a musical icon who still puts on an amazing show. His sounds reverberate in popular music such as Fleet Foxes and Vampire Weekend. And no he wouldn't have to perform Gracland to do so. His catalog is deep and rich enough.
You have to consider the adult demographic that Bonnaroo tries to appeal to. They are the ones who spend all the money on VIP, beer, etc. I think the line would look like:
Radiohead * Paul Simon * Phish * Red Hot Chili Peppers

if hes on the lineup it will appeal to the demographic no matter what, wont matter where hes billed. if that was a concern they would of billed BS higher then 5 last year.
Paul Simon is much more beloved than Buffalo Springfield, which I considered more of a novelty act (heresy!). Neil Young and Crazy Horse would be higher billed this year. My guess is they would be slotted fourth.
I would be surprised if we didn't get either Young or Simon. But not both.
