She's offline again. I'm guessing for good now. At least it's narrowed down to two. Problem is one would make people ecstatic and the other...not so much.
1. Radiohead 2. RHCP 3. Rolling Stones 4. something out of left field like RATM
...I'd say it is fair to assume it's between Radiohead and RHCP but I wouldn't say it's definitely one of those two.

I on the other hand would definetly say it is one of those two.
Why does it only narrow it to those two? Quite a few other headliner level bands that start with R and have a vowel as second letter.....Could get Beach Boys from that list of four within which she noted one being correct..and then Rage Against the Machine!
Hey insider, the second letter being a vowel didn't eliminate a single band (Unless you don't count y as a vowel, in which case I guess we're not getting Ryan Adams). You have to give us something else!
I'm starting to think that because I want RCHP and really don't want Radiohead that there is something wrong with me or something. Is there somewhere I should start listening to RH to change this?

Just start at the beginning and work your way forwards. Gotta get the sense of their progression through the 90s and 00s.

OK Computer or In Rainbows
Pick Airbag or 15 step and then whichever song you like more, listen to that album.

Actually I got turned on to them with the King of Limbs.
let's just get it out of the way already. we're gonna end up getting radiohead, foo fighters, phish and the beach boys. i think i can live with that. but my hope is that one day they go after bands like the stones, mccartney, roger waters, bowie or prince.

I wouldn't start with Pablo Honey. Bends, OK Computer, or Kid A are good starting points.
-When I Hear My Name -Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground -Blue Orchid -Passive Manipulation -Red Rain -Death Letter -My Doorbell -Hotel Yorba -Same Boy You've Always Known -Lovesick -Little Ghost -We're Going to Be Friends -The Hardest Button to Button -Black Math -The Nurse -I Just Don't Know What to Do With Myself
Encore: -Ball and Biscuit -Seven Nation Army -Screwdriver

Don't get me wrong, I love their new stuff as well, but their first two albums will always have a special place in my heart. I feel like you should have to listen to those two first.

Yeah, if you were gonna start early on, I'd start at The Bends then go forward, then go back to Pablo later. It's like an early Beatles or Stones album, they did alright but they weren't in their zone yet.
I doubt we're getting Radiohead. RHCP, Phish, and an artist out of left field... Maybe the Throne? Muse? Black Sabbath may still be a possibility for Friday night (if Tony is expected to make a speedy recovery).
whether she's online or offline, I'll be here pounding the sh!t out of my F5 button until she either gives us something or says she's gone for the night.
