Does stalking in Nashville ever work? I've met Patrick Carney but that's about it. Jack White has been my ultimate target forever, and he lives so close! So frustrating
Jack White is like the easiest one to spot in Nashville. Just go to any TMR show.

I was at the Wanda Jackson show that he played in at TMR. I guess I'll have to go back more over the summer when I get back down there. And I spotted him going to his car when we were in line but he's a quick dude. I just want a handshake hahaha oh well
We run into Wayne Coyne lots down here. That's about all we got, but he's quite the talker so it works out pretty well. Well that and random sightings of Vinnie Paul passed out, fvcked up in random bar corners.
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.

That seems to be the big dividing line on them. I personally love them and really enjoyed their last Roo show, but I know multiple people who dislike them. On the question, they played Which last time midday-ish. I don't think they're quite to the level to close which even thought I would watch them over the Strokes any day.
Ashley Capps loves the National. So I would not be surprised at all if they were back so soon. I think they are pretty great. The lead singers voice doesn't bother me at all.
It apparently looks like Fleetwood Mac is definitely doing a reunion tour next year. Would they take a HL spot? Lindsey Bitchingham is annoyingly arrogant, but the man can destroy that guitar. Saw him in October and was very much blown away. So... thoughts?
I would personally love if Fleetwood Mac took a headlining spot. They're a classic rock act that when reunited still sounds great, and still put on the same great show they did back in their hay day. My parents were huge FM fans, so I might favor them because it's what I grew up on.
I heard The Chain on the radio last night and was actually thinking how awesome it would be to see that performed at roo, but kinda shrugged off the idea... I shouldn't get myself hyped up.
I used to feel the same way, but it grew on me quite a bit. My very first encounter with them was when they opened for R.E.M. and Modest Mouse, and I honestly thought his voice was terrible. After listening to their albums for a little while, my position softened, and I actually dig his voice now.
As for Fleetwood Mac, I fully support the idea. They would likely need to headline, but I could think of much worse options.

I'm not sure exactly where Fleetwood would play, at first thought they would have to headline, but I don't know if Roo really wants them as an unopposed headliner, therefore they may not even entertain the idea of booking them.
