The Phish crowd's alcohol intake is tempered by mass quantities of premium corn. But those two fan bases would be the last ones standing. I envision them walking off into sunrise holding hands, laughing and singing.

Nah. The parrotheads would start singing Margaritville and then the phans would scoff at them and say something about shitty simple 3 chord pop.
Eh vaguely cute, not really funny. The first time it was funny, now it is older than me talking about Girltalks ipod.
: Waldorf, are we getting old? : I don't know, Statler, maybe you should ask your third wife. : My third wife? Why, the last time I saw her, she was raisin up a big fuss about something called women's suffering : Women suffering? That doesn't make any sense. : You know, you're right. I was doing all the suffering in that marriage! : Dohohohohohohoho!
Jess, for all your posts about how the board is a meaner place now, there's less camaraderie etc etc, you must rank right up there with Juggs for posts where you call other posters a "quacking idiot, quacking moron, hipster summers breeze."
Only when responding to someone starting poop with me. I don't just attack people because I dislike their opinions or musical tastes I leave that to you and Juggs.
Actually putting wolf on ignore was the best idea I ever had it is not like he is going to talk about music other than Taylor Swift anyway.

Oddly enough there is actually a lot of crossover between the fans, and the bands themselves. Buffett is a phan he was at both Phish shows, and covers Gumbo on the Phish tribute album. For the most part Buffett gets a lot of respect on PT as well. Easily they are the two biggest party bands that could come to any town these days.

Buffett is still a big name for sure. I know he's playing at the ampitheater in my town at the end of March and has almost sold it out already. What's impressive is that besides $40 lawn seats, and the seats in the back on the side ($90), every other seat in the house was $142. He also sold it out less than a year ago on the same night that Lady Gaga was in town (totally different crowds, but still).
I would really hope Seger's not on the farm though. I was lucky enough to go to Orlando Calling (for free), and I was pretty excited to see Seger. He definitely wasn't bad at all, but his performance was nothing remarkable. It had me and my friend wondering what makes him such a big name, and what makes him different from the bands that play at county fairs every year. There also weren't too many people in the stadium he was performing in (only 25,000, as opposed to the 100,000 the promoters were hoping for). I will say that when he did Turn the Page, it was a chilling moment in the show. I would skip him if he came though. Kid Rock opened for him, and I though KR blew him away. He put on a really good show (and I wasn't a fan at all before I saw him).

This is all extremely antagonistic and not in the spirit of Bonnaroo at all man.
The spirit of Bonnaroo would give you the shirt off his back. The spirit of Bonnaroo would let you watch his big screen tv. The spirit of Bonnaroo doesn't say "boo!" It invites you over to it's ghost palace to have cookies and milk. The spirit of Bonnaroo lends you Season 1 of Deadwood. The spirit of Bonnaroo lets you have two turns in a row at Super Mario 3.
I forgot what I was talking about. Oh well guess I'll hit post reply.

What makes you think we are at Bonnaroo right now? Do you get a fever with your delusions?

Should we make a "Food vendor/truck prediction thread" too?
As long as the Best Burger truck comes back, I'm happy. That place's burgers were quacking AMAZING.
Actually, ALL the trucks they had in that area (over by one of the tents, across from the Sports Bar, next to the water slide) were bomb. Not priced too terribly, either.
