Tossup between Gogol Bordello and !!! - saw them both at Roo in 2008, and while !!! edged out Gogol that year, this time around Gogol has the late-night advantage.

I love how people ask about "wild dance parties" and then list a bunch of jambands. It's like when I hear that the Iron & Wine show was "raging." No, it wasn't. It's not possible.
The wildest party will be The Sword. It's loud, heavy, and fast.
My vote is for Big Boi. Late night tent with that funk/soul/hip hop/rap mix. I see ladies popping that ass at that show, along with some nice slow jams to set up the mood.

Ughh!! The number 1 and 2 vote getters play at the same time. The wife is really pressing at least stopping by Girl Talk. I just don't see how I can leave Gogol Bordello after missing them in '09.
Or was that 08?? The last time they were there we saw them with Les Claypool in the last Superjam. I think it was '08.

I believe Gogol was there in '07 and '08 (I know for sure '08, I'm zoomed in on during their performance on the DVD).
I would see Gogol Bordello, but I am slightly biased having seen Girl Talk about 7 or 8 times (I'm from Pittsburgh, so cut me some slack, haha). I have a feeling the Gogol set is going to be extra special (especially as Eugene was given the opportunity to curate a stage).

Oh man I saw Gogol Bordello in 2007 and was wasted drunk off vodka started drinking at 7am after partying pretty hard the night before... well after Gogol finished I proceeded to sit down and I passed out for 3 hours... I woke up to Ween and proceeded to party with some guys next to me. I'm skipping them this year though, as I'm planning on watching String Cheese Incident & the rest of STS9.

It's a shame that SCI plays at a time where there are so many bands I'd like to see. They're one of the few jam bands that I actually like.
And for those of you who make it to the front for Gogol Bordello; you will leave the show looking like you just got out of a college party. You will be dripping with sweat and most likely covered with Eugene's red wine.

Ehhh, I see what you're saying but at the same time I disagree. Iron & Wine in 08 was quite the little party.
Man, I really wish I had been conscious for that. I laid down in the grass while I was waiting for Tegan & Sara to finish up and ended up falling asleep until the last ten minutes of Iron & Wine.
