my worst conflicts are Portugal. the Man vs. Man Man, Mumford & Sons and the Black Keys vs. DeVotchKa, and Robert Plant vs. The Strokes vs. Beirut other than that it's a great schedule!
/big boi vs lil wayne /bootsy collins vs dr john /bonnaroo doesn't know how to schedule late nights
i've been attending for 9 years now and i can tell you that they've always scheduled late nights like that. it provides for an interesting night tho. like for example when i discovered a band called The Flaming Lips back in '03 when i thought i was going to be attending another Medeski Martin and Wood show. /one of the best nights of my life

I don't think this is the finished schedule, I think they're still working on it. There are a few spots that can be filled like Friday (On Tap Lounge) and Saturday (This Tent).
John: We don't even understand our own music Spider: It doesn't, does it matter whether we understand it? At least it'll give us . . . strength John: I know but maybe we could get into it more if we understood it
I think it's cool that I'm going to get to scratch Henry Rollins and Cheech Marin off my "to-do" list on Thursday evening instead of later on during the weekend.
Overall I'm pleased, but there are some serious conflicts in there...and Mumford>>BS on the Which is going to be a clusterf*ck. Seriously hope they wise up and get some screens for that stage. Also some very strange What stage choices --- Dennis Coffey or Wiz Khalifa seem out of place.
MMJ has a longer set than AF or Eminem, Very nice way for AC/S to show them some love.
AF only ever plays 90 minutes so their set length is no surprise. They will end up running closer to 100 with the encore break, (Coachella was about 100) so those who are hoping to see all of AF and most of Black Angels (Myself included) are most likely screwed.
I'm absolutely loving the schedule for the most part. I have found gaps in the sched to go back to camp and not have to try to spend 18 striaght hours in Centeroo. Less than 4 weeks!!!!
Question: has anyone made sure that everyone listed on the lineup is on this schedule? I know Belgian Manders pointed out Black Box Revelation, but is there anyone else missing? That might be my pet project today if no one else has done it.
Ok on the pdf file I am guessing that the blacked in boxes are set in stone and the others are ideas but not quit set just yet. So still yet many things can happen.
I'm not sure if this was covered, but I'm assuming you're talking about how some acts are in orange boxes while others are in white? I'm pretty sure the orange acts are the acts he/she selected through voltaroo mindreader. That's his/her "custom schedule".
Anyone think the schedule was leaked on purpose to gauge the reaction?
As amazing as it would be to let the fans to have a say in the scheduling, I highly doubt it. I still feel that the customizable "discovery" feature should be utilized to see which acts have common fanbases. Based on Sunday evening alone, they obviously didn't do this.
Of course, not everyone uses the scheduler and they have a lot more to consider beyond what we want, like crowd flow/control, getting audiences for the smaller acts, etc.
