AT Bonnaroo? Do you know the cause of death. How very sad.
Yes, AT Bonnaroo. It was Hyperthermia, aka heat stroke.
Rule #1: Drink lots of water. Then drink some more. Rule #2: See rule #1
Rule #3: Make sure you have a steady sodium intake. If you've been drinking a lot and you're cramping, get some salt in the system.
Overhydration can be dangerous, especially in hot weather. If you've had too much water, your body will have a harder time maintaining healthy bodily functions. That, and it can be a rather uncomfortable experience.
we are planning on going in wednesday as well - getting there much earlier than we did last year. we got in line around 2am on thursday morning and got in sometime around 8.
That actually doesn't sound too bad. I've heard horror stories of the 9-10 hour wait in line. 6 hours I can roll with. I'm thinking we'll go Wednesday night. It'll be me and my two sisters-in-law so I'm sure we can entertain each other for a few hours in line.

My friends and I left the walmart parking lot at about 4:30pm on Wednesday to get in line. The line we got in stopped moving 2 or 3 times total...we were in our camping spot by 5:30 at the latest. It was absolutely amazing, and if you can swing it, I recommend the early arrival. After some of the horror stories I heard, it was such a relief.
I don't know...last year we got in line midnight on Wednesday....and didn't get our camping spot until 6:30-7 am. After a 14 hour drive to get there, that was not fun at all. This year I will probably get a hotel a couple hours away for Wednesday night, and drive in early Thursday morning.
This has probably already been addressed. I didn't go last year, which was the first year they "officially" started letting people in on Wednesday night. Did this do anything for the line queue throughout the day on Thursday, or is it still a total crapshoot?
