So Garden State will play in the cinema tent then after Zach Braff will do a Q and A. Not sure if anyone cares about this but i just came across the article and thought some people might be interested. I like the idea but i would much rather see a Q and A with Kevin Smith.

Neato. Not a huge scrubs fan, but I loved what braff did with garden state. I can't imagine i'll make it there unless there's 0 conflicts, but pretty awesome nonetheless

I had an urge to watch Garden State the other day. I didnt, but i really wanted to. I love that movie for some reason. I dont think its the best film ever but for whatever reason it really appeals to me.

Never watched Garden State but I really enjoy scrubs. Granted, Braff is one of my least favorite things about it, but I still find myself laughing. Eeeeeagle!
I'll probably check this out if there isn't a band playing that I really want to see. I enjoyed the movie, so it might be cool to hear the Q&A. It's also not a bad excuse to get out of the sun.
scrubs was a great show when i was 22, and thats all that matters because that is when i saw it. garden state was a good movie about 20-somethings that were all going through different trials of being a new adult. braff is still a bit of a vagina mcginstein. he was just as mentally unstable as she was in the movie. shins do owe a lot to that movie. ramble ramble ramble ramble

I'm so there. And I hope Braff chases after me. We can share our anti-depressants.
Garden State was an impressive debut from Braff, who I find to be a comedic whiz. It is an unpretentious, quirky, endearing film. I admit it does drag on at times, and may have a few too many strange plot twists, but it redeems itself as the characters and their relationship bloom. I think it speaks to my generation, full of so many wandering, aimless souls emotionally detached from the world around them, and even themselves.
The imagery and soundtrack catapulted a great film into the category of "excellent" in my opinion. One of the greatest soundtracks of the 2000's, and the reason I followed Braff on Myspace like a fiend for years. He has such an ear for remarkable music.
Also, Scrubs was one of the most under-rated sitcoms on TV for years.
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.
