been wondering this as well. doesn't sound like they're gonna have a long timeslot, which is a killer for people like me who were hoping for some Neil solo stuff to be played during their set as well.
holy shit I just checked out the black angles after seeing this but they might be my most looked forward to LN.
I already know what to expect from Bassnectar, Girl talk and Pretty lights (all awesome shows, if you haven't seen them and are thinking about it, GO!) and they will be at all the festivals for at least the next 3 years so im not worried about missing out.

I kinda see BS playing a pre-headliner slot. I remember the Allman Brothers in 05' having a 5:30-6:30 slot---kinda sucked, I would have loved to see a longer set, but it was amazing. I kind figure they will get something like that...probably a bit longer perhaps.
Saturday Which - Lil Wayne Tent - Bassnectar, Girl Talk Tent - Dr John & Meters, Bootsy Collins Tent - Gogol Bordello, Black Angels
Hmmm...Gogol in a tent (or Dr John for that matter)? In 2008 Gogol played on the Which Stage.... granted it wasn't a late night show, but they still seem a bit big to be put into a Tent.

I kinda agree with you...however, I guess some people who would see an afternoon show MIGHT be asleep for some of the late nights---THEY ARE MISSING OUT THOUGH!!!

Seriously. I couldn't imagine going to Roo and not seeing LN shows.
I guess unless they open the What stage to LN shows, there might not be much of a choice. I honestly think Lil Wayne is popular enough to warrant a What stage LN spot. But of course, they may just stick with the Which and Tents for LN.

I'm pretty sure that this shows Shpongle will NOT be Thursday. They don't count the Thursday nights as Late Nights do they? Was Lotus listed last year? And wouldn't the other two tent headliners from Thursday have to be listed here as well?
no. but i think this could be the year. the only other time shpongle could play is saturday late night. not sure where they're booked on friday. they're either playing thursday or saturday late night at roo. i'd imagine big boi and lil wayne won't be on the same night, big boi has listed friday. i think it's a smart move to have eminem (what stage) directly followed by lil wayne (which) late night.

They had some Lunar Stage LN stuff on Thursday last year... I know the return of the Lunar Stage is in debate right now.. but just throwing it out there.

the allmans got a full 2 hours, 5:30 to 7:30. I remember well because I was able to get a 12 pack through security in my backpack and had to pee soo bad but didnt want to leave.
I agree though, I'll bet BS gets a 1.5-2 hour set closing out the which stage, because I don't really see them being the pre-headliner for eminem. but who knows.
Lil Wayne - will be Which Stage SCI - will be Which Stage Bassnectar - Saturday Girl Talk - Saturday Dr John & Meters - Saturday Pretty Lights - Friday STS9 - ? Gogol Bordello - Saturday Big Boi - Friday Scissor Sisters - ? Ratatat - Friday Bootsy Collins - Saturday Shpongle - Thursday or Saturday Black Angels - ?
You also have to take into consideration that bands who have listed as playing lets say Saturday could really be Friday late night
Shpongle will be on Thursday. He has other shows 10th and 11th and I'd see them Having Thursday late nights/stage shows before they did Sunday.
I doubt they open a stage, I bet he gets one of the tents 12-2 or so. I do not think there show runs any longer than that at least not the two times I have seen them.

Seriously dropping the ball on EitS in the day time............... honestly pretty upset about that. Still pretty cool to know what the late nights are though. This will make the mock schedules much easier

I don't know if a tent is big enough for Shpongletron. And I don't know why they would only list one of the 3 late Thursday tent acts. I still am thinking Which.
Cue someone coming in to say that Bonnaroo will NEVER have a Thursday stage show

On the contrary, the Black Angels late night kind of makes up EitS not being late night because I really didnt see that coming. Thats gonna be awesome.

I do not think the Shpongletron is that big from looking at videos, no bigger than Deadmau5's setup.

There are some potential conflicts, but that is to be expected for late night sets. I agree with a previous poster that EITS would be great for a sunset show since they aren't playing late night. Black Angels is a great surprise for late night.

I'd say it's right on the border size-wise. Deadmau5's setup is mostly in front of him, Simon's is going on behind him.
And my main argument, anyway, was that if he's just another thursday night act wouldn't they have listed the other thursday late acts?
