Ah okay, so OneEyedJacks announced their Voodoo Afterdark show for 10/28. It's Boots Electric, the guy from Eagles of death Metal. Don't know his music or if it would be worth it. you can get in for a 20$ donation to some cancer group. I'm relieved to know I'm not gonna be stressing trying to get into Mastodon in a small club.

I'll let ya know about a monday night room tomorrow morning when i get into work whoreshack. Definitely down for a drink.
I haven't decided if I'm going to pay the extra five bucks for balcony access. I don't expect the Maison to have any sort of VIP wristbands, I figure if i really want to get on the balcony I'll only have to confidently walk past the guy at the top or bottom of the stairs. I've also never chosen to watch a show up there when it isn't considered a VIP section. So yeah, just gonna play that by ear.

This was an awesome festival! MCR and Blink 182 were gay as hell as expected, but there was so much great music it was ridiculous. Highlites: Soundgarden TV on the Radio Original Meters Mastodon Red Baraat X Raconteurs
