blame her parents. she is going to be loved by fake friends, hated by most everyone behind her back, hated on by most everyone with ears/eyes just like she is on these boards, undoubtedly she'll get offers to do live shows on poles like miley cyrus soon, and she (her parents, actually) will make some decent cash for all this.
goodbye childhood. but at least her friday will be fun fun fun fun because friday friday friday friday

I agree with jakicker.
Her parents probably have industry connections. The label had to figure that given the popularity of Bieber and the fact that KOL and Eminem can now headline a festival the size of Bonnaroo, there's no reason to think this Leno can't be a money maker.

Eminem could headline any festival in the world, and has been able to for a long time.
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.
IDK the video seems pretty resourceful...got up this morning, knew it was Thursday, didnt want to look for my calendar. BAM! I now know tomorrow is Friday.

Seriously though, who cares? It's a 13-year-old girl making mindless music for other 13-year-old girls. If it really bothers you that much, you need to reevaluate your life. In particular, the people who would send threatening letters to this kid over this video/song need to seek help, immediately.
I will never understand why people get so upset over vacuous, empty pop music. It's been a part of our collective culture since music became a popular/commercial art form. Some of it is good, some of it is terrible, some of it is so terrible that it becomes good, and some isn't really either, but is a dumb/fun excuse for a song.
Right on.
After seeing her name trending on Twitter for the last week I finally broke down and googled her. Man, it's a pretty awful song! That said, she's a kid and I feel bad for the response she's gotten. I know I did some pretty embarrassing things when I was her age and I am continuously thankful that we didn't have the internet and camera phones back then. (Yes, I'm old.)
In the end, I hope it's her Robin Sparkles moment.
