Most of the music I love, I love because it moves me in one way or another. The guy who wrote the pitchfork review obviously doesn't care to be moved emotionally by music. Some music isn't meant to move you to pull out your thesaurus to find obscure words to describe it, music like this (to me) is meant to make you sit back and feel what is indescribable.
This band is the number one discovery I've made while researching the lineup. I am obsessed now. Bought the CD a few weeks ago and now they've made my top 5 to see. <SIGH>
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
They're going to be performing on Conan tomorrow night. I love this album, but I am pretty surprised since I thought they were way too unknown to be performing on the show.
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.

Just as an FYI I'm almost positive Conan's stuff from his TBS show can't be put on YouTube, but it should be on the TBS website.
I'm glad they're Sunday, presumably opening a tent. I'm sure I'll be tired as all get out by Sunday morning so it'll be a nice way to ease into the day.

This is why it's always best to just enjoy (or not) the music for yourself, and not to live up (or down) to the opinions of Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, etc.
