ok, with big boi "confirmed" and cee lo being heavily rumored, what are the chances of getting andre, ali, and gipp to have a dungeon family/goodie mob reunioun? that would be a late night tent set for the whole night right there!

There's a fair amount of probably unrealistic speculation in the Headliner thread about Big Boi's tweet possibly being a coy hint that Outkast will actually be at Roo. No confirmation from Insider but people have asked her. It's already a win with Big Boi being there but that would be pretty sweet. I'd love to change the name of this thread to . . . Da Big Boi is Coming to the Farm for an Outkast Reunion.

I saw Big Boi last semester, he played a show at my university, and it was fucking INCREDIBLE. Also, my boyfriend gave him my pink and black Magic Hat sunglasses I got at 'Roo last year and apparently he wore them out of the building. ...BIG BOI HAS MY SUNGLASSES.
...also "General Patton" is my favorite track of 2010. By far. SO PSYCHED.
When he's not on the virtual gridiron -- where, he says, he enjoys playing either as Tom Brady and the New England Patriots or his hometown Atlanta Falcons -- Big Boi is keeping busy with new music. The 36-year-old says he's "five or six songs deep" into his next album, the follow-up to 2010's acclaimed "Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty." "I'm in the studio working on some new material, producing a couple records for outside artists and on tour," he explains. "I'm booked up until September. While I'm not on the road I'm in the studio, rockin' shows and droppin' flow."
Big Boi's touring plans in 2011 still include a "Georgia Power" joint tour with Cee Lo, but he says the details of the trek are still coming together. "I think they're just trying to work out the kinks behind the scenes," he explains. "I know one thing -- we might have the change the name of it, because the actual Georgia Power company sent a cease-and-desist letter, so we can't use the name."
On plans for an OutKast reunion, however, Big Boi is still predictably mum. "Top secret," is all he'll say. "Stay tuned."
So given he's halfway through recording a second solo album and planning a tour with Cee Lo, presumably for this year, I would say an Outkast reunion at Bonnaroo seems really, really, really unlikely.
Has anyone listened to The Brothers of Chico Dusty? It is a mash up of Black Keys and Big Boi that Big Boi has been hyping. Would loke to see the Black Keys and Big Boi do something at Roo.

Brothers of Chico Dusty is certainly a fun and interesting mash up. I like it.
I wouldn't expect a new Big Boi album so soon. Even though he says he is 5 or 6 songs in, as fickle as most artists are, especially hip hop artists, who knows if those songs will even end up on the follow up. Plus with him booked up through September and working with other artists that doesn't leave much time to actually get the album done.
I'm not holding my breathe for an Outkast reunion at Roo, but that last sentence is certainly interesting. And Outkast could easily be the number one on this lineup if they were indeed there.

It would be sick to see Big Boi come out during The Black Keys' set and do some songs. Or vice versa of course. Hopefully they'll end up there on the same day.
