Went to the Fitz & The Tantrums show last night in Boston, which was excellent, talked to Fitz after the show asked him if they were going to play at Bonnaroo; he said " it looked good and to keep my fingers crossed".... I so hope they're there....

don't know the band but that sounds like a confirmation. anything other than a strict "no" or "don't think so" is pretty much a confirm. now to look into this group

^ who's another alternative to umph, bisco and sound tribe? not saying they're all alike but i'd assume a lot of people who like one might like the other 2 and maybe, just maybe, bonnaroo might book another band to fill that void.
maybe in place of sts9, although they are touring this year, we might get eoto, big gigantic, the new deal, pretty lights, p-groove, particle, moe. or tea leaf. actually the list goes on and on and on and i could see any of these bands there.
yeah but he takes away one of the top electronic acts from the lineup. late night conflicts are killers though
You're right, and it's sad b/c his cheesy mash-ups aren't true electronic music. But it is true that we'll have less of a conflict choosing for that night. Or hell, maybe they'll do what they did to Animal Collective that year, and he'll play a Saturday 2:00 pm slot.
2012 Wishlist: Radiohead Phish Daft Punk Ghostland Observatory Broken Social Scene Roger Waters Bell X1 Bonobo Chemical Brothers Fiona Apple Built to Spill Modest Mouse

John: We don't even understand our own music Spider: It doesn't, does it matter whether we understand it? At least it'll give us . . . strength John: I know but maybe we could get into it more if we understood it
