Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Its $18k for up to 8 folks....$2250/person. I was talking about this in another thread...I was thinking about going VIP next year for the 1st time (4th 'Roo) however, I would be down for this if enough people would do it.
There would be 2 from Alabama you can count in...depending on the lineup. VIP at minimum either way for the 10 Anniversary (that alone should make it a good one)
$260ish (GA x1) | $1500ish (VIP x2) | $2250 (Total Access x1) - With that huge difference in price, I better get E-V-E-R-YTHING....the same treatment as an artist.
Several of us in VIP camping this year discussed going TA next year...depending on the lineup. I'm DEFINITELY in if the lineup is good. Hell, after watching the promo video on the 'Roo main page, I'm still tempted regardless. A tour bus stocked with WHATEVER YOU WANT? Where do I sign?
I am one of those folks that Holls was talking about from Camp VIP Inforoo this past year. If we can keep this thread for only those who are serious about this, I have a really good feeling there will be a Camp Inforoo Total Access next year(depending on the lineup). If we start getting a bunch of randoms clogging up this thread, we will figure something else out or possibly move it to "The Hill" with the VIP info.
I would really like to do this. Me and my husband were talking about it everytime we saw one of the golf carts go by with a group of TA's in it.
I know one of the ways they were brought to centeroo was down production road towards the Which. Then drive up the road that has the Guest hosptality and the Artist hospitality. They would drop them off right behind the Which stage. There was an entrance there for Guest/Press/Artist/TA.
I don't know what they were allowed into as far as the hospitality tents go because I never saw the TA bracelet(white with teal and purple), but if they were allowed in the Artist hospitality there were pig roasts.

I am curious about this. My bf's fraternity works the security for "Super VIP" (aka total access, celebrities, artist guests, etc) and I am sure they know the ins and outs of it. I will report back with my findings once I know.

My husband worked audio at Roo for the past 2 years and said if the Total Access people get the same catering as he had backstage, then they will be getting really good food.

i was thinking about making a thread for it on the hill...
i would be down for 2 beds on that bus, line-up depending.
daniroo +1 sounded like she might be down for it as well...
Im serious about this as well if I can get the others in my group to get on board. Does anyone know the food/drink situation? It seems like this package basically includes all the food drink you want all weekend.... I figreu for no VIP I'm paying 700 or so after everything so the difference in price may very well be worth the difference in the weekend....

I think of the price of total access as the difference between total access and VIP RV
figure about $800 for the ticket and probably another $500 or more for the RV rental. (prices per person).
How much do i spend on "stuff"? booze - $125. food - $125? probably way less.
so with that in mind, im in for a bit over $1500.
Sooooooooooooo - is it worth another thousand dollars to get ultra-preferred access to bonnaroo?
depending on the lineup, yes.
The way I see the last part of your statement about 1000 being worth ultra-prefered treatment . . .how much would you spend to get backstage/onstage/front row viewing for even one of the main acts at a regular show, plus the golf cart service plus a ride to and from the airport. I believe that 250 per day is worth it, now the checkbook on the other hand. . . .screw it, where my Visa card.
damn it, I'm considering VIP next year, and now all of you VIPers are one-upping me.
uh-oh
We are not one-upping you. . . . . yet. . .
Its still a good ways off and I am sure that if we don't do the Total Access that I for one will still make my home in VIP.
edit: if nothing else JHOinTN, you were the one who finally put me in a position to use that smiley with the fan. I have been waiting a long time to use that one.
^^ haha, well, at least you got to use your smiley!
Total Access sounds totally awesome and I would LOVE to do it... if the cost wasn't more than what I make in a month. I hope that those of you that want to do Total Access get to do it; and I hope those that aren't able will set up camp in VIP!
from what I gather, TA folks can have their pampered lil' asses chaffeured over to VIP on ye olde golf cart o' laziness, right? So whoever goes TA won't have to miss the morning mimosas in VIP!
For the serious ones that truly are considering it...My GF and I are certainly in. For me, honestly, I'm completely ok paying $2300 bucks for all those perks. I spent over $1500 for 'Roo 10 anyway. My tax money next Febuary is designated for 'Roo 11 and if thats not enough...Visa/Amex/Discover are my friends!

my brother goofyone - on the board- is definetly going total access next year. My boyfriend and I are gonna wait for the line-up to make our final decision!
Maybe there is already a group of 8 before the line-up? Maybe there is another 8 who are waiting for the line-up? This is needs two threads so it doesn't get mixed up together.
I went VIP my first year and it was a mistake. No vibe, no fun, and not worth the cash. I have gone GA ever since and have had much more fun. Half of the fun of Bonnaroo for me is mingling with the masses of humanity in the camps. Yes, I curse the heat and walk my ass off every year but that too is part of it. If you need that much luxury to endure Bonnaroo then just watch it all from the air conditioned comfort of your house!
