Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.
in lieu of all the ridiculous predictions with 8+ headliners i tried to "dumb" mine down a little bit so i dont set myself up for disappointment by getting my hopes too high (although deep down i still dont believe we'll get daft punk. the rest of these seem pretty plausible though)
Paul McCartney * Neil Young * Daft Punk * My Morning Jacket Arcade Fire * The Strokes * Widespread Panic * John Mayer Trio

I was going under the assumption that he was exaggerating and that it was a joke making fun of the other dude's ridiculous lineup.
It was a joke, although a one-off Paul/Ringo/Julian/Sean/Dhani headlining show would sell out the fest in minutes.
Sorry I missed that
Sean and Dhani aren't even close to John and George. I would rather hear almost 3 hours of McCartney doing his own songs. Plus I would imagine the harmonies that make many Beatles songs would be rather awkward.
Why is there a consensus that WSP will be back in some role other than headliner? They have headlined Bonnaroo about 12 times.
(sarcasm alert) Judging by recent headliners KOL, we are more likely to get Panic At the Disco than WSP.
I liked their set in 08, I wouldn't mind seeing them again. It would make sense for them to play this "special anniversary" roo. Still, I am not dying to see them again.
You know, I don't know anything about Daft Punk except what I've learned from you guys. But I want them to play so bad for the folks on the boards who have been hoping for years
-When I Hear My Name -Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground -Blue Orchid -Passive Manipulation -Red Rain -Death Letter -My Doorbell -Hotel Yorba -Same Boy You've Always Known -Lovesick -Little Ghost -We're Going to Be Friends -The Hardest Button to Button -Black Math -The Nurse -I Just Don't Know What to Do With Myself
Encore: -Ball and Biscuit -Seven Nation Army -Screwdriver

Same. Nothing against Sean, Julian or Dhani at all - I would just rather hear them play their own music than try to fill the shoes of their fathers. Plus there's no reason to believe that Paul and Ringo will ever play together again - I don't think they've done so since they recorded "Free as a Bird" 15 years ago. Even though I know you were just being sarcastic and don't actually believe that it would happen.
I'm all up for Paul solo though - I saw him twice last August at Fenway Park and he was phenomenal! Not that you would expect anything less from one of the members of the most successful and influential band of all time. His set was about two-thirds Beatles songs on which he'd been the principle songwriter, and the remaining third was a mix of stuff from Wings, The Fireman and his solo career.

Widespread Panic At The Disco, ftw.
Even better, Widespread Panic at the Disco Biscuits as the Sunday closer.
look at how eclectic this year's was though and that one's really not that far off from being strong, obviously needs to be fleshed out but it has a lot of fun potential
