Yes yes yes yes yes yes, Airline. Looks good to me. Only thing I would do would be to switch Massive Attack for Daft Punk (I know that's a big add, but I need to see Daft Punk; I'm already seeing Massive Attack at Moog). Other than that, would not change much at all from your lineup. Well done.
' dude!! I was looking forward to doin a couple pre-show shots in NYC...so your not going to any of the shows now?? Hope everything is ok

Yeah, not going to any of them...pretty bummed about it. Have to sell my tix for the usual reasons, money, school, work, etc. Was really looking forward to it, but oh, well.

what about MMJ in the Phish spot frmo 09? Do like a 12-3 on the What stage after the pre-headliner? I dont know how everyone else feels, but I just love the MMJ late night sets and would rather have that than Sunday headliner...the past few years its been so hard to rally for Sunday last show (which we head back to NJ right after) stick with the epic MMJ late night sets, but move it to the What stage. The biggest question is I guess, how much AC wants to spend and how much they are into the "10th anniversary" vibe.
Club away if it can get us better headliners than U2 and Arcade Fire.
I am hoping for Phish, Radiohead, and Furthur myself.
Damn you and your Arcade Fire headliner loathing and your better than me bejeweled score!
I am not a very big U2 fan as well . Also I don't loathe AF, I just do not care to see them headline, I hope they play a nice LN for everyone who wants to hear them. They are just not big enough to headline.

They sold out MSG...twice. I think Wolfman is basically on a crusade against all Arcade Fire fans because he wants the lineup to consist totally of jam bands.

You obviously do not know me very well. I listen to a lot of diverse and different kinds of music. More so than 90% of the people on here at a guess. Just because I like Phish do not assume it is all I like. Once again AF is fine, though I do not personally feel they are that special. However if you can not sell 5000 tickets in Atlanta you will not headline Bonnaroo. If they play they will be in Flips spot from last year, which is a great spot. You guys need to stop acting like I hate them or do not want them on the lineup, I am just being realistic about their size and draw.

Come on, Wolfman, I was just quacking with you because you said you wanted Phish and Furthur to both be headliners. You're right that I don't know you very well, but I didn't assume you were only into jam bands. I was just messing with you.
As far as being realistic about AF's placement on the lineup...I think you're thinking a little bit too one-dimensional in regards to AF's headlining capability by harping so much on ticket sales. They're a different kind of band, not to mention that ticket sales IN GENERAL are down for all bands. I know for a fact that when Phish played Walnut Creek here in Raleigh a few months ago, it did not sell out, and they are CLEARLY headliners. It's just the direction things are going in.
Put it this way: if Arcade Fire played in Kings of Leon's spot or Jay-Z's spot from this past year, they would have arguably just as many people out there to see them as those two did, IMO. But, as I've said time and time again, I could see it going either way with Arcade Fire. You shouldn't be shocked if they headline, and NoD shouldn't be shocked if they don't.

Phish played the same venue AF did in Atlanta and sold it out hard for two nights at full capacity. Tickets were going for upwards of 200 on the fourth in the lot. I just do not think they have headliner draw LN what opposed, maybe. I doubt it though, they will have a lot more freedom to play longer at the Which. Also fwiw KOL, and Jay Z are MUCH larger bands than Arcade Fire.
As far as headliners go I actually be a lot happier if Furthur got a LN which with no LN what and AF played the 9-11 slot, I just do not think it would happen that way.

I have to agree that there are a lot of unrealistic expectations out there that are coming far too early. Stop it or you will be severely disappointed. Roo 2011 will be great but won't have 7-12 headliners playing at it
I do like Airline's latest and Bishop's self acknowledged unrealistic but hopeful line-up
I have to say U2 is one of the few on the li st that's not really a wish but an expectation, one of these years. I'd go see 'em but not a huge draw for me.
