I wonder if Bonnaroo gives AF a 2 hour time slot, will they fill it? When I saw them in Calgary it was close to 2 hours but as we have discussed earlier most sets are 90-100 minutes. Either way their set will be one of the high points of the weekend.

Power Out--> Rebellion is the best part of their show, even better than Wake Up. Ending the "set" (pre-encore) with it is amazing. When I saw them do it last everyone was was humming along to Rebellion during the encore break.
I kind of wish they wouldn't close with Sprawl II. I really like the song, but it's just not a great closer. I'm sure they were sick of closing with Wake Up for the last 3+ years, but if they wanted to end on a Regine song I'd rather it be something like In The Backseat. They pretty much never play that though.
^Agreed, those three songs were the three best of their set when I saw them, but "Rebellion (Lies)" was the best one for me. Although the crowd singing along with the wordless singing parts in "Wake Up" is pretty bone-chilling.

That's a great looking set list. If they're going old school, I'd like to hear Cold Wind, although I think that was only on the Six Feet Under soundtrack. Headlights Look Like Diamonds would be pretty great too. Honestly, my one wish from them is that they play Antichrist Television Blues. It's my favorite song by them I haven't heard yet. And Half Light II.
I've seen both Month of May -> Rebellion and Power Out -> Rebellion and they're both awesome. Rebellion and Power Out are always two major highlights for me so it has been kind of nice to have them spread out. I agree though that Wake Up belongs at the very end. They've really nailed down Sprawl II since they first started playing it but I think it's just impossible to end on a higher note than Wake Up.
Headlights or Cold Wind would be be amazing but unfortunately they've been sticking to their three albums this tour and pretty much nothing else (besides the occasional cover). They virtually never play anything off Neon Bible other than No Cars Go, Intervention, and Keep the Car Running. I'd LOVE to see ATVB also but I'm not getting my hopes up. Half Light II is one of my favorites off The Suburbs but they've only played it a handful of times. I've actually heard it doesn't translate all that well live.
I have a feeling the setlist will be pretty typical. Out of the realistic interchangeable songs they've been playing I'm hoping for Suburban War or Empty Room.
could do without month of may though. its by far their worst song.
Why is that? Just curious why you feel that way.
I just find it to be irritating to listen to. and I LOVE arcade fire, this one song just gets on my nerves. i feel like its a non-arcade fire song on an arcade fire album

Funny, because that's the song that I really liked on my first attempts to listen to the band and it's easily one of my favorites from what i've listened to. I do agree that it sounds different. I've read people talking about how it's like a high-energy Springsteen-type song that sounds a little different than usual AF songs.

AF has plenty of high-energy songs, its not like this one is the only one. I guess im just more of a wake up person. maybe it also comes from the fact that ive been listening to them since funeral and started there versus starting with the suburbs

Yea, I wasn't trying to say it's their only one.....just that it's one of them and that I've also heard it sounds a bit different.
I started with Funeral as well and listened to The Suburbs after it.....but it was mostly passive listening while doing other things. There were a bunch of songs I liked on Funeral but I remember hearing Month of May and stopping what I was doing to restart the song, look up the lyrics, and pay attention.

Month of May opening would be phenomenal, it's one of their best songs live. The Well and the Lighthouse... I just really want them to play that. I'd be fine if they gave us a normal setlist but with that thrown in there. It seems like they usually only change one or two songs and just move the others around every night. My Body Is A Cage would be great too.

Can we please please please have something similar to this at Roo Arcade Fire? Pretty please? (minus Cyndi Lauper, unless she's planning on goin to Roo as well)
We will get something pretty similar to that setlist since they haven't been mixing it up too much. I can pretty much we will get these songs.

Really hoping Suburban War makes it's way to the setlist somehow.
Do they ever play it live? I would love it.
Saw them play it in Chicago a couple weeks ago. However, they played 3 nights so they changed it up a little each night. I can only think of like 3-4 other set lists I've seen it on since The Suburbs came out, unfortunately. They REALLY need 2 hours, I'd like to hear a couple more Neon Bible tracks than what they usually play, plus stuff like Suburban War/Half Light II.
