Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Red Rocks was beyond amazing! Quite possibly the best of the 10 times I've seen them. They were so loss all night and the crowd of over 9000 was eating it up the whole time. Bear<Steam Engine was awesome as was Smoking<end of Run Thru<Strangulation<Touch Me #2. The venue is unbelievable cool and it sounds so good too. Basically best Birthday ever!
Here is the poster which sold out about 15-20 min after doors opened (after I got one thank god)
Gah. So jealous of Bear > Steam Engine. And at Red Rocks of all places... I need to get out there for a show sometime. I really hope we get a Dondante next weekend in Boston.
Quick straw poll here that wasn't worth its own thread...
If you were trying to get someone into MMJ, what would be a better place to start them off - Okonokos or the Bonnaroo 2008 bootleg? I'm leaning towards Okonokos because of professional mastering... but man, that Roo '08 set was just so perfect.
Personally I'd go Okonokos if only because of the professional job done on it. Sounds fantastic. Whereas I think the 'Roo bootleg from 2008 really does show off their rawfacemeltinrocknrollraingodsuperpowers! Tough call.
Okonokos is what I'd recommended, but then I was starting to second guess myself afterwards. The professional production on it is what sold me in the end - it just sounds so phenomenal. Whereas I think just on paper, Roo '08 has the edge setlist-wise.
Ya it's amazing. I didn't even know what it looked like until yesterday afternoon because they sold them pre-rolled and in plastic bags and they didn't have one on display. I just heard it was a Burwell and knew I needed one.
The Terminal 5 catalog shows, Hallahan says, were recorded and will likely be released as a vinyl box set and possibly as digital downloads. "
This will be awesome. I hope they do end up releasing the entire 5 nights. My only concern is something that was pointed out on the MMJ forum: Cobra won't fit on one side on vinyl.

Yeah as excited for Macca as I was a few days ago (great show, btw), I'm already more pumped for MMJ again in Cincy. I know that's not how it should be, I really can't help it.
I just want to thank this forum for introducing me to My Morning Jacket. Never listened to them before the lineup dropped this year, and this thread really gave me direction to checking them out. They blew my freakin mind at Bonnaroo. Maybe THE best rock concert I've ever seen. I got 5th row tickets to see them in Rochester Hills next Tuesday, I'm beyond excited. They're definitely one of my favorite bands now, so thank you Bonnaroo/Inforoo!
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.

You should always check what the band played last time or two that they were in your area. They said they go back and look at setlists so they don't repeat rare songs and things like that.
