the website is down.....i need these shows. oh man. what's the deal? they free to download? is it just one song or one night?
Butch Cassidy from the first nite.
In one week, another song from the second nite.
And so on.
This MUST mean they will eventually release all 5 nites in their entirety. Otherwise it would be the greatest cocktease of all-time, and MMJ just aren't those type of guys.

damn......i thought it would be a full night or a few songs. I don't mind if they sell the T5 shows......I just need good quality audio of those nights.
i think there is good chance that they will. Also did you guys here they are releasing 500 more of the picture discs for It Still Moves, Z, and Evil Urges for rescord store day. Unfortunately, the shops in AZ never get the super rare stuff, but still pretty cool.

Picture discs are super shittty unless you're going to frame them. But they're a waste to actually play.
At the end of last year Jim James said the album should be out May this year. He says it's being recorded live to give it an old and dirty sound.. sounds awesome ;D ... this is the link

Whatever song they pick from the At Dawn show will be fine with me. Strangulation would be cool, or Bermuda Highway or Phone Went West, anything, really.

So this is the band that i found out were going to be playing from this site before the lineup was announced, so i checked out their shit and fell in love. Watched Okonokos on repeat everyday after i got home for i dont know how long. Havent had a chance to see them again since 08... Theres no way they can play a better show this year, can they?

i don't know if it can get any better
but it might sound better? is the sound system for the main stage a bit louder than the which stage? i mean, jim james blasting on the main stage?
i was sort of off to the right in 2008. i'm definitely trying to be in the pocket this time. being in the pocket for wilco>bruce was great... arcade>mmj (should that happen) could be on that level for me.
For the T5 At Dawn download, you guys should be begging for Honest Man. Although At Dawn was my fourth favorite night of the run, Honest Man was in my top five favorite tracks for the week. Shit was insane.

Interesting that you would rate At Dawn your fourth favorite night of the T5 run -- I had hopes that it would be the best night of the run, but I think it was about my fourth favorite night as well. What would your overall MMJ @ T5 power rankings be?
Mine would probably be:
1. Tennessee Fire 2. Z (for that encore alone -- that was bananas) 2b or 3. It Still Moves
With At Dawn/EU tied for fourth -- because c'mon, none of these shows deserve to be "last" in anything! Combined with Levon's Ramble, that week was the best seven-day run of my life.

Wow, you are quite lucky to have gotten the Ramble cred in. Did you go to Speaking Clock also? I was able to and made it a six night run.
This is my T5 ranking:
1. Tennessee Fire 2. Z 3. It Still Moves 4. At Dawn 5. Evil Urges
I thought Evil Urges was significantly weaker than the rest of the nights. I was also surprised At Dawn didn't blow me away. Then again, I don't think anything could have after Tennessee Fire.

"We’ve always been a pretty comfortable band,” says front man Jim James, “I think that’s always been one of our greatest strengths, just that we’re so comfy with each other. We’ve never really had weird power struggles in the band or weird mind games between us. I feel like this record was a lot looser for us — I tried to give us less fully formed songs to work with, so we could all really flesh out the songs together and everyone could bring their own thing to it. We’ve been doing this for a while, so I think we’ve all figured out how to function together and also not drive ourselves crazy. This record kind of shows that, I think."
if only The Strokes could learn to get along

The link is working now...It wasn't earlier. I'm a little dissapointed by the choice of song. There are so many live versions of the song and they play it almost every night. Having said that, it is an awesome recording and I absolutely love this song.
Hoping in the 6th week they have what I like to call the Radiohead option--Free DL of a Circuital song and an option of buying all 10 songs in advance of the album release.
