You know, I'm starting to think there might just be a chance they invite Animal Collective back but, this time, give them the late night slot they deserve. They've had artists play back-to-back years before...

Here's my prediction (I haven't looked at anyone else's prediction yet, so if mine is similar to anyone else's, we're just thinking alike)
The Who * Stone Temple Pilots * The Allman Brothers * Further * Shpongle (Live Set) * Mark Knopfler * John Mayer * Natalie Merchant * STS9 * Blur * Arcade Fire * Pavement * Massive Attack * Big Boi * The Roots * Rob Zombie * Derek Trucks Band * Galactic * Them Crooked Vultures * Gorillaz * Assembly Of Dust * Goo Goo Dolls * The Dead Weather * Cowboy Junkies * Monsters Of Folk * Groove Armada * Black Rebel Motorcycle Club * Garbage * Justice * Gillian Welch Clutch * OK GO * Fear Factory * Midlake *Hot Chip * Deadmau5 * Mudvayne * Lotus * Bonobo * Toro y Moi * Wino * Spoon * Lissy Trullie * Beach House * The Whigs * Los Campesionos! * Testament * Broken Bells * Rebelution * Charlotte Gainsbourg * EOTO * Ryan Bingham * Alberta Cross * Lionize
just for the record: this is definetly not my wish list...except I know Rob Zombie & a Shpongle live set probably won't be there (hey, it can happen)

Lulz at Stone Temple Pilots being a headliner.
True that, but I'd still be buying a ticket. (The lineup..not stp particularly)

Never thought I would see the Goo Goo Dolls associated with Roo but I like the way you went about picking your lineup. Here goes mine:
The Rolling Stones Rage Against the Machine Roger Waters performing The Wall Allman Brothers Band Stevie Wonder Pavement Arcade Fire The Dead Weather Norah Jones Mos Def Monsters of Folk Roseanne Cash Les Claypool Wolfmother STS9 LCD Soundsystem The Postal Service The Wailers KT Tunstall Down The Avett Brothers Dawes Atmosphere The Jayhawks Lotus Tim Reynolds Ingrid Michelson Alberta Cross Tortoise Julian Marley Lord T and Eloise James Hunter Langhorne Slim Byrnin' Smyrnans Paul's Grandfather

My lineup is a prediction. Honestly, I'm not really a fan of half the bands I've listed. I just think they're going to be there. Your lineup is closer to my wish list, so I hope you're right.
The Who Stevie Wonder The Allman Brothers Band Up in Smoke (Dr Dre, Snoop Dogg, and Eminem) Portishead Dispatch Arcade Fire Parliament/Funkadelic Pavement Dave Chapelle The Dead Weather STS9 Iggy & the Stooges Monsters of Folk Gorillaz LCD Soundsystem the Avett Brothers Big Boi The Roots Shpongle Ghost and Rae EOTO some other bands
random (and i didn't read back through all the posts, so someone might have said it) but i think possibley sade? i dunno...this will be my third year at roo and i could see her there i think. she just (or is about to) put out her first album in 10 yrs, so it she could do a tour in 2010.

I would hate to miss that but I don't think she'll be at Roo. I thought I read or heard somewhere that she doesn't do live performances anymore...or just very few. I think for lover's rock she had a very small tour schedule.
I finally got around to watching the HBO Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Concert (Bruce and Stevie killed), and I realized that there are two legendary non-headliner types that are still rockin' and WAY overdue for a Roo appearance...Lou Reed and John Fogerty. In terms of people who have not previously played Bonnaroo, I would take them over just about anyone in the "classic rock" genre.

Not all my guesses/predictions. No headliner guesses for me yet. But I guarantee some of these bands will be there at some point in the future.
Arcade Fire Arctic Monkeys Bishop Allen Black Kids Black Lips Black Rebel Motorcycle Club Bowerbirds Builders and the Butchers Built to Spill Camera Obscura Cass McCombs The Cribs Cut Off Your Hands Cymbals Eat Guitars Damien Jurado Dan Deacon The Dead Weather Dear and the Headlights Deastro Deer Tick Does It Offend You, Yeah? Doves eels Eisley Fleet Foxes Florence & the Machine French Kicks Friendly Fires Fruit Bats Girls Great Lake Swimmers Handsome Furs Harlem Shakes Headlights Horse Feathers Hot Hot Heat Interpol Islands Japandroids Jason Isbell The Kills LCD Soundsystem Little Boots Long Winters Lykke Li M83 The Maccabees Magnetic Fields Magnolia Electric Co. Mates of State Matt & Kim Metric Midlake Modest Mouse Nada Surf The National Noah and the Whale Pavement Phantom Planet Pixies Postal Service Ra Ra Riot Ratatat Sea Wolf School of Seven Bells Sparklehorse String Cheese Incident Sun Kil Moon Tapes 'n Tapes Thao with the Get Down Stay Down Tokyo Police Club Vampire Weekend The Walkmen White Lies Yo La Tengo The xx
I'm predicting there will be some sort of band that noodles on guitar, some guy who runs around talking into a microphone, some group that pushes buttons, some group that will make the hipsters swoon, and some group that will bring the "wrong" crowd to roo.
