^^It is a lot of fun to sit back and watch the game unfold and figure out who's who. It's actually more entertaining than playing the game sometimes, as I think will be the case for me this time around.
i am the ref this game. stfu about the inspector rule. if the inspector has the skills to guess a mafia on night one, and is willing to give his/her life for the good fot he townspeopl, he should be applauded. nobody is stopping mafia from presenting their own inspector in response to townspeoples inpsetor or even before townspeoples inspector.
lol ok, then count me out of this game and probably any game you ever decide to ref again.
may have been a littler hitlerish....im gearing up for inglorious basterds tomorrow...
i have to remember work>corn>mafia not work>mafia>corn
No rule existed at the time, so what rule was there for me to break?
I'm actually with you partway - I would prefer to see an Inspector go as long as they can without revealing themselves. But even though I'm in favor of Inspectors keeping their identity a mystery, I don't think there should necessarily be a rule requiring them to do so.
I think it should be a matter of individual discretion what a player chooses to do with their role, rather than have a method enacted/required within the rules of the game.
I don't care eother way. I think it is fun when there is more than one person claiming to be inspector. I have not read enough games to know how often a fake inspector comes out forst. I agree with Jack though. If I have 2 names and have a hunch on the third I'll come out (especially since the end goal is to win) b/c I figure I'll end up dying and it is the inspector's responsibility to save the townspeople. That being said, I am not opposed to playing by Strum's rule a round or two just to shake things up. Nor am I opposed to adding the other roles...although I have no clue what the nurse is. I am also not opposed to keeping it as it is. I am easy. Whatevah!
I did go back and read the original mafia thread and to be honest I got bored during the second game and quit reading sometime after the second round.

hahaha... what the hell does the use of corncat in an attempt to calm down an otherwise dull and pointless feud have to do with being bitter over a type correction??
Kdogg gets grumpy when people try and eff with his mafia games. It's ok, if it really bothers you that much and you want to play the next game then I can postpone having my suggested rule enacted for a game. That is, as long as Ref Hippie will agree to those terms ;D
Regardless, there should be some sort of tally going here of who's in for the next game methinks to aid in the productivity.
