I know all you guys had to see the "Kanye still sucks" graffiti on the walls everywhere. And I also heard people still talking about the story or still screaming "kanye sucks!"
I'm kinda confused as to why people are still bringing it up anyway. It was last year. I think it's time to just let it go.
I can't let that go...2008 what Effing amazing, until kanye but a bitter taste in my mouth. Everytime i think of 2008 roo, i first think of the AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL show by sigur ros, and then the jackassssery of kanye. Total conceited douch bag. I cant even listen to his music anymore. Kanye Sucks will live in Roo history as the biggest ass hole
I used to be way into Kanye. then roo 08 happened. then i gave him another chance, reluctantly, cause dangit if I don't love phresh beats. Then 808's and Heartbreak came out. Dead to me. Phuck Conyay indeed. I personally will have a gay fish t-shirt ready for next year. remember everyone, it's still funny cause he's still an @ssh0le!
Really? Still? I always thought Roo was about the opposite of focusing on the negative...
Well, for me this isn't a matter of negativity but respect. Kanye showed those waiting for his music -- and, allegedly, the performers and crowds at the other stages -- no respect. He has never been apologetic about it, either. No remorse, no forgiveness.
One of the greatest shows I've seen. The production value in his show is along the same lines of that in his beats. Don't get me wrong, I hated the wait. Still, Kanye West is easily one of the top rappers and the #1 producer out there.

Even if all that were true, it wouldn't change the fact that Kanye Sux or that people should continue to say FuckKanye at every opportunity. It's just the right thing to do

y halo thar
I got nothin' against Dre, but Common's Be is possibly the best produced rap album I've heard in my life. Not to mention, "Jesus Walks" into "Never Let Me Down" from College Dropout is the most beautiful transition between songs in rap history. The production value is just amazing.

Thank you so much for showing a pic of dr.dre in response to that. dr. Dre is by far the best rapper/producer ever its really not even close. well I mean maybe if Kanye discovers someone as great as snoop dogg and eminem maybe that can be a discussion but for now yeh right. Also, I bet dre would of never pulled the same crap kanye did at roo....

I'm actually talking about beat production, not who they've discovered. Kanye's beats are unmatched. I'm not defending his personality here. I'm just saying that no one can make better beats. Yes, that includes Dre.

Yeah I actually didnt hate the Kanye show at all. I thought the wait was ridiculous and yeah he couldve come out and explained but I met some cool people during that wait and wound up seeing them again this year on Sunday. I guess its all just a matter of taste as faras his beats go. I mean the dude consistantly has put out #1 hits for almost a decade now. And say what you want about 808s and Heartbreak. I think its genre bending, envelope pushing goodness. Sure hes a dick. Fuck the guy for that... but Im not gonna act like he's not making classics left and right.
And yes... "Be" by Common is one of the absolute best albums in the history of hip hop.

How about:
Dilla Premier Pete Rock Hi-Tek Ant Rick Rubin Marley Marl RZA Kid Capri Eric B. Grandmaster Flash Scott La Rock RJD2 Madlib El-P Dan The Automator ?uestlove
I just got up a little bit ago so pardon me if I forgot anyone.
Really though I won't take away from Kanye production wise, dude makes great beats, but to put him ahead of some of the people you are is a travesty. Especially if you are seemingly basing a large part of that on Be considering the rather obvious nod to Dilla production wise.
I'm glad you took back the best rapper comment because...Jesus.
