Ok, I just rolled into Manchester an hour ago and am currently sitting at Krystals about to head over to Wal Mart.
Atleast 25 miles out of Manchester there are plenty of police camped out in the medians hidden behind bushes. ALOT of people have been pulled over. I witnessed one poor girl get pulled out her car while the cop had a dog going through her car.
So just a fair warning to EVERYONE. Be careful, they are out in full force, they have closed truck weigh stations nearby and are using them as a home base.

And clearly you aren't a rapist (I hope) but the way you pop into any thread where a woman happens to be lamenting her lack of ride to Bonnaroo and tell them to come hop on your bus sounds extremely rapey.

Quick word of advice from a local...Do NOT paint "Bonnaroo" all over your vehicle, they will find a way to pull you over...Don't give them any kind of reason...Safe travels, can't wait for ALL of ya'll to get here!! Bonnaroooooooo!!!!
It shouldn't but often times it does. If you don't have anything in your car that you're worried about, then feel free to look/drive/act like a lunatic. If being pulled over concerns you because of the possible sanctions that will result, have some common sense and tone it the f*ck down. Flying down 1-24 with your dreadies billowing out the window and your "I LOVE LSD" sticker on the back of your VW van isn't doing you any favors.
I resemble that remark. Well, not the dreads really. I just wanted to point out that I don't really know of any VW buses that can "fly". I will be flying down at 55mph and wholly expect to be pulled over. Bring it on choppa's!
Same as us. We just say the Bus is rolling probable cause. His bus has actually gone 70 before, but I think it was about to lift off the ground.
We were pulled over in Fayetteville, TN, right where you turn off of HWY 64 onto HWY 50 going to Lynchburg. The cop was in a brown Nissan Xterra and all of the lights were hidden in the grill of the car. He said I was going 56 in a 45. Sure enough, the K-9 showed up and smelled around my car. Didn't find anything and I was on my way in about 5-10 minutes. He never even mentioned me speeding again.
We got pulled over in PA on the way home, my fault- 70 in a 55 (we were riding clean and I wanted to make time). The cop was really friendly, and gave us a nice Bonnaroooooo exclamation. He checked my license/reg and let us on our way with a verbal warning to go the speed limit.
