Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
1. If you had to choose Bonnaroo or Burning Man, which would it be? (and yes I know it's kinda comparin' apples to oranges, but anyway...) 2. Who would you like to see at 'Roo next year? 3. What improvements, if any, would you like to see at 'Roo next year? 4. Inforoo Brunch 2012: what're you bringin'? 5. What are the next six shows you have lined up and/or would hope to go to? 6. Thoughts on Coachella's planned two identical weekend festival idea?
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.
1. If you had to choose Bonnaroo or Burning Man, which would it be? (and yes I know it's kinda comparin' apples to oranges, but anyway...)
Burning man sucks! Do not go! Bonnaroo is closer to me, but hands down Burning Man, all day, everyday. After a long night, or day, at any time you can look on the ground and there will be no trash. After a late night show at Roo? If you fall and break your arm playing on some of the art or if your car is damaged from the rocky road entering the Playa, you do not look to seek justice by having the festival organizers or the owner of the land compensate you for your misfortune. It is called radical self-reliance. In Black Rock City, nothing is for sale(only coffee and ice, with the profits going to the local school, Gerlach). If you have cup you get a drink, if not, you don't. If you have fingers, you get food, and if you do not have fingers someone will feed you while someone else rubs the inside of your thigh. Out there, a man in a tutu is an every hour thing and a man wearing nothing but shoes, socks, and Animal's face (Animal from the Muppets) on his crouch and bearing his hairy-bright-white-ass, giving free rides in a rickshaw that he is pulling, is a good friend of mine. He is also the guy who built an 11 foot tall guillotine, with a 2 foot blade, designed specifically to cut grilled cheese sandwiches. It was appropriately titled, 'Cut the cheese'. I am rambling. Like I said, BURNING MAN SUCKS DO NOT GO!
2. Who would you like to see at 'Roo next year?
HEY SP/ACE, I want to see either Pearl Jam or Radiohead at Roo next year! Thanks. ;D
3. What improvements, if any, would you like to see at 'Roo next year?
Funny you should ask.
Change in the literature about hydration. I want to see a more proactive approach in educating the masses about sign and symptoms of dehydration. Something more than,
"Keeping hydrated and drinking plenty of water throughout the weekend is crucial. Tennessee is hot in the summertime, and you will undoubtedly be moving around to see music, activities and more, so you must drink plenty of water to keep your body happy! "
Shade. In Centeroo and at the Pods. I think they added some misting tents, but mist is not good in the humidity with no wind, have big fans!. I think for an inexpensive amount they could provide more shade in Centeroo and I have ideas/designs to help with that.
Fix the parking!!! People who get in line at midnight-thirty should not be camping 35 minutes from Centeroo, when people who got in line at 10am are only 5-10 minutes from Centeroo.
Sell less tickets. Too many people.
Fix the lights, nice work with the Coo-Coo Clock, but it is only four days, make sure sTent and missing lights on the Ferris wheel does not happen again.
4. Inforoo Brunch 2012: what're you bringin'?
something special, it is way too early to comment to something yet, but it will be something special.
5. What are the next six shows you have lined up and/or would hope to go to?
Burning Man, Blackwater, Magnoliafest, Voodoo, Bear Creek, and Wannee.
6. Thoughts on Coachella's planned two identical weekend festival idea?
Like Jazz fest, but with the same artist both weekends? Sounds like it might be a challenge to pull of, but if they do I think they make more money, a lot more, which is why they are doing it.
I hope you already know the answer to this question, so let me think about it, Fuck-yeah! but only if I get to wear the cone.
Do you experience hangovers when you drink too much? If so, too much of what beverage.
Wine gives me a hangover or if I get too drunk on liquor. I have trained myself to drink water and I rarely drink that much, so my hangovers are far and few between.
Let me see if I read your first post this page correctly:
Burning Man is good because attendees practice "radical self-reliance," but Bonnaroo needs to do a better job educating people about a common-sense issue such as hydration?

;D Somebody actually read this. To me, Bonnaroo has taken on the parenting role, they tell us where to park, where to camp, they tell us when the music will be played and for how long, what food and beverages and clothing and anything that can be sold in Centeroo. Bonnaroo to a large degree directs your Bonnaroo experience. I know set times and camp organization is needed or seems to be needed to make the experience seem organized, but I am not convinced it needs to be this way, hence why I like Burning Man, I do not want to get into the legitimacy of Bonnaroo in a 'parenting role', but they do. Since they have taken on that role, I think Bonnaroo should, it is not their responsibility, but I think they would want to, they should try and educate people about the importance of keeping hydrated and sign/symptoms of dehydration. It is your responsibility to follow those recommendation, but it would be nice if Bonnaroo made that information easily available to you.
"To stay healthy and enjoy the week, drink water all the time whether you think you need it or not. Drinking up to one gallon of water per person per day is the rule of thumb." "Remember to eat proper salty foods to prevent electrolyte imbalance. Users of alcohol, caffeine or other NO NO WORD!!! are particularly at risk for dehydration, and should pay careful attention to their water intake. Dehydration can cause headaches, stomach cramps, abdominal pains, constipation, or flu-like symptoms. It exacerbates both heat-related and cold-related conditions (i.e. heat exhaustion and hypothermia), and makes it difficult for the body to mend itself. If someone you know complains of these symptoms, or shows signs of either severe overheating or (worse) a case of chills under the mid-day sun, get them to shade immediately and seek prompt medical help. In case of emergency, go to the Medical Clinic at Esplanade & 5:15 or an Emergency Services Station near the Civic Plazas. Medical staff are always on duty and evacuation is available.
Some signs that you may not be drinking enough water:
* You don't carry a water bottle with you at all times. * You swill instead of drinking deeply. * You wait to drink until you're thirsty - too late! * Your urine is anything but clear and abundant. * You become cranky.
Beating the Heat (and the Cold)
Make sure you bring some kind of shade for your camp and try to lay low during the hottest part of the day (save your strength for the night). Use sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, and water. If you don't take a few basic steps to protect yourself, the desert's midday sun will cook you in no time. "
Your karma has increased over 100 points in just 1 week: are you Fridaying yourself under an alias, or are you bribing your minions to exalt you hourly?
Honestly, I am not sure why that is. Last month, unexpectedly it went down and now this month it goes up. I guess someone likes my Scroggy-style

Money! I was just out of high school and my step mom told me about RNs making $48 an hour. 5 years later I decided to follow up on that and I have a problem, I like to give, I like to make people happy and smile and laugh. If others are happy around me, than I am happy. That carries over into my career choice of nursing.
Yes, in the beginning, $$ was my primary motivator.
What is your favorite “B” movie? Mine’s “Sinbad of the Seven Seas” – have you seen it?
I have not seen that movie or too many 'B' movies, but I did like Evil Dead.
If you woke up one day as Miss Piggy, would you still eat pork-chops?
That might be hard with someone's hand up my pink-piggly-ass, but I would try. We are what we eat, right?
Whose live show has had the most impact on you?
I like them, but not huge metal head Metallica fan, but Metallica was my first big outdoor concert. They blew me away!
If you were a character on Sesame Street or The Muppets, who would you be?
i love the quote of the burning man webpage. I always feel like too many people truly do not understand how much water you truly need a festival...
and that is where the problem is, and people think, well, there are water stations and I can buy a bottle of H2O if need be, so when my body is not 'happy', I will drink some water. WRONG! How often do you drink water when your body is not happy? If you know or have it in your head to drink water, no matter what, like a gallon/day, then you will be less likely to get dehydrated.
Question: Have you ever been in the cinema tent at Bonnaroo?
At Burning Man, have you participated in creating art installations? If so, what were some of your favorites and what was your involvement?
My first year, we had an artist involved with our camp, then he moved to another camp before the burn started. One day, early in the week, he brought the project over and we as a camp were to help build it, but it was his project and we all kind of sat around, while he put the finishing touches on his project. It was a nice jester, but awkward and weird. My second year, we got early entry passes (a certain amount of people are allowed in days before the gates open, to set up projects, theme camps get so many passes) from this guy, but in payment we had to help with his 'art project'. This sounded cool. I was excited to do this. Except his 'art project' was a cheesy, cheap-shot at an art car. A car with a stripper pole on top. This guy was disorganized and I think still peaking from the night before, and his project was not the most inspiring project. We all agreed, we had sold our soul to the devil to get in early, but 6 hours work on Sunday, before the burn starts was worth getting in 2 days early. I have not worked on them, but my favorites are works by someone from your area, The Flaming Lotus Girls. They do amazing work!
How do the women of Burning Man compare to the women of Bonnaroo?
I see the beauty in women from both and enjoy them just the same, but in the desert things are a little more sexual.
Are you ignorning me? Whatcha' doing the end of July?
Check your box.
What will you do with all that fabulous Karma?
Not sure yet, I am thinking something will come up.
My mom watched the brunch video and saw that super special smile you have! What will it take for that to shine more often?????
I love seeing good people get unexpected things. That is what the QSARS and Friday's happy dancing was all about. I love gifting.
Gifts=Smiles!
Appears you dont watch B movies... What is your favorite 'D' or 'E' movie?
Dark Knight, which technically is titled, The Dark Knight, but whatever. My favorite 'E' movie would be E.T.
When properly hydrating is the leg humping um... satisfying?
For one to proper leg hump one must be properly hydrated. That goes for the humper and the humpie as well. This will give purest and the most gratifying satisfaction.
Corn flakes or Frosted flakes? If the latter, why are they GR-E-AT?
Frosted flakes are GR-E-AT because everything is better when frosted. ;D
Is it always sunny in Ocala?
No. There is this strip of land that runs down the middle of Florida, called Lighting Alley, Ocala is in the middle of that. In the summertime, around 3pm, you can almost set your watch to it, it rains and storms for about 30-45 minutes, then it clears up and the heat returns, which is great for fungi growth.
I have two beers here. I am just going to sit here and (continue to) drink and just keep typing questions until those beers are gone.

I have two beers here. I am just going to sit here and (continue to) drink and just keep typing questions until those beers are gone.
Two beers, either you type slow or drink fast.
Who is your favorite serial killer?
The hillside stranglers are some crazy fucks, but since we drank the same water, I have to go with the local hit of Aileen Wuornos. Did you see her in the movie John Handcock, that biznatch is HOT!
If you had to get the death penalty by legally permissible means, which method would you request?
This is the truth. I am not sure how old I was, but I remember the sheriff coming to our house. It was a big deal, because my dad found pot plants growing in the field next to our mobile home and called the authority. I remember shovels and police cars. As you can see my Dad and I do not see eye-to-eye on certain things.
Assuming a full season, what do you predict the Dolphins' record will be next season?
A winning one. I like the Offensive line. If you have a good OL and you control the line of scrimmage, other things fall into place. I see the Phins in the playoffs this year.
Who goes to the next Super Bowl, and who wins?
This is a tough one every year, but with the uncertainties this year, it gets more difficult. For unknown reasons, I am gonna say the Falcons and the Patriots are in the Super Bowl this year. With the Pats winning.
What kind of phone do you have?
Smart phone, HTC droid with Verizon.
What kind of car do you drive?
2004 Ford F-150 Truck
What is your bowling average?
On wii, I bowl like around 250, in the alley I bowl in the low hundreds
How did you first hear about the September 11th attacks?
Roommate's Mom calling the house woke me up, next phone call, I answered and she asked me if I had turn on the TV yet, then I did and saw the Towers had just collapsed.
Who is your all-time favorite American Idol contestant?
That beat-boxing dude, Blake was cool.
What were some of your Halloween costumes as a child?
I was a scarecrow once, I told my mom I had to dress the part and in doing so a scarecrow is dirty and a bath would go against my costume, so I should not have to take a bath. That reasoning did not work. I was a clean Scarecrow.
What were some of your Halloween costumes as an adult?
It was Trailer-park-skank-ho, I had an afro that I cut up to make some, or should I say a lot, of public hair, it was overflowing out of my underwear. I put some red paint on the underwear and would go around flashing people and asking for a 'pad'. It was disgusting and vile. I loved it. edit: of coarse, I also had fake breast, make-up, and a wig.
How can one not help but love the Beach Boys once one has listened to Pet Sounds?
I do not know, maybe I will put this album on when I get home.
How long has it been since the last time you blacked out?
The last time I remember blacking-out was about 6 years ago. I woke up to find a Gut box(local late night fast food joint called Guthrie's, served just fried chicken strips, they came with FF and Texas garlic toast and a tasty spicy sauce, De-lious!) un eaten on the counter, all the lights were on, there was a path of clothes from the door to my bedroom, and the front door was cracked open. My last memory that night was drinking at the Ale House. This night did scare me! I no long drive after I have been drinking.
What is your favorite Christmas song?
Silent night
Which musicians no longer living have you seen perform?
Shannon Hoon from Blind Mellon.
Have you been to Las Vegas?
Yes, a couple of times.
You're in Florida... how has the BP spill changed your life in the last year and change?
If I can, I do not buy gas at a BP gas station. If I can? because I have been know to coast on fumes into a gas station and when in that spot you have to get it where you can.
What is your favorite thing about Jesus?
That his name can be pronounced in many ways.
What is your favorite thing about Muhammad?
That in a 'free' country he has us so scared we can not even draw a picture of him. That is power.
What is your favorite thing about Buddha?
Bud is in his name. We called my Grandpa Bud.
Who is your favorite Star Wars character?
I have always liked Bobba Fett.
Who is your favorite current world leader outside the U.S.?
Does Prime minster Putin count? that guy is not afraid of publicity.
Which band did you listen to way too much junior year of high school?
Boys II men. Still love some of their hits.
Do you attend your high school reunions?
Yes, got one coming up next year. Looks to be a cruise.
Have any nieces or nephews?
I have two nephews.
What is your favorite advertisement?
Anyone that features a hottie in bikini. Not for the sexual enjoyment of of my 12 year-old self, but more for the fact that sex sells. People will put sex on anything to sell it and I guess it works. Why is Go Daddy so successful?
If you had thirty seconds of Super Bowl airtime, what would you do with it?
A quackin' Happy Dance. During the Super bowl, I am on TV! HaHaHa! and look I am dancing. Look here is my nipple! Opps.
Who are your all-time top five Saturday Night Live cast members?
in no order, Will Ferrel, Chris Farley, Eddie Murphy, Dan Aykroyd, and Belushi.
Which porno sites do you recommend?
Porn hub is free and has good quality videos. You can see Kim Kardashian's lady-flower on there Hello!.
What is your favorite William Shatner role that is not Captain James Tiberius Kirk?
He was a good Hooker, but I like him as the Priceline spokesman.
Dane Cook or Jay Leno?
Neither, I am more of a Carlos Mencia kind of guy.
Are you sick of being BMOTM yet? I don't know if I can go much lower than the preceding question at the moment... ...but I encourage all y'all to help me lower the bar
1. Favorite comedian? 2. Last album you bought (physical copy, no downloads legal or not!)? 3. What dead person would you have most liked to have randomly met up with in a "coffee" shop in Amsterdam? 4. Favorite alcoholic drink that is not beer, wine, or just a straight single liquor shot? 5. By this time next week your BMoTM status will be over, have you enjoyed it? Any favorite questionos? 6. Any good jokes you've ever heard while workin', especially any from patients? 7. Most recent movie you've seen in the theater? 8. Have you read The Hitchhiker's Guide To the Galaxy five part trilogy? If not, why? 9. Any tattoos?
Richard Pryor all time favorite. Eddie Murphy during his prime, but now, Joe Rogan.
2. Last album you bought (physical copy, no downloads legal or not!)?
Big Sam's Funky Nation King's of the Party.
3. What dead person would you have most liked to have randomly met up with in a "coffee" shop in Amsterdam?
It should be someone like Abe Lincoln, or Gandhi, or King Tut, or Joan of Arc, or anyone historical or someone smart like Socrates or Tesla, or a beauty like Marilyn Monroe or Queen Nefertiti or Cleopatra, no I would chose one of the USA NSA directors. I want to know our governments top secrets. Let him try some of the local truth serum and then tell me some government secrets.
4. Favorite alcoholic drink that is not beer, wine, or just a straight single liquor shot?
Hunch Punch!!! or what Italians call Sangria.
5. By this time next week your BMoTM status will be over, have you enjoyed it? Any favorite questionos?
I do like being BMotM. Favorite questions, I would say 'which porn site do I recommend?', because anytime I get to mention Kim Kardashian's pussy and just as one would expect she does have a very nice looking pussy , that is a good conversation to me.
6. Any good jokes you've ever heard while workin', especially any from patients?
No, but I joke a lot with my patients, no matter who you are, especially if family is around, when I put someone on the bedpan or assist them to the toilet, I always ask in a very serious professional voice, "Do you need a newspaper or anything to read?". They always laugh.
7. Most recent movie you've seen in the theater?
Inception
8. Have you read The Hitchhiker's Guide To the Galaxy five part trilogy? If not, why?
I am buying two books this weekend and this is one of them.
9. Any tattoos?
No I am clean slate, untouched by Ink. No piercings either.

Falcons? What the quack? Did you see what my Packers did to them in the playoffs? If you're going to be going out on limbs and making awful predictions here... where do you think will be the final outcome for the defending champions? Who's your favorite Dolphin? Do you play fantasy football?
Any other porno sites that get your seal of approval? Is there a deviant sexual act and/or position which you have dubbed Scroggystyle? If so, what does it entail? How did it come into being? Have you actually engaged in it? If not, what do you have to say for yourself? I'd be surprised if you didn't. Would you be upset if someone else called dibs on associating the name with an act/position for thinking it up first?
Would you rather hook up with Dr. Ruth Westheimer or "Talk Sex With Sue" Johanson? (Should I ask this one to all future male BMOTMs?)
No, KDogg that is a duck, I said Falcons, I think they sound more like a, Squawk.
Did you see what my Packers did to them in the playoffs?
I am happy for your Packer's this past year, but they finished 2nd in a division that includes, the Vikings and the Lions , you were lucky to be where they were, they made the best of it, good for them, but they will not repeat this year. Do you watch college football? SEC football? See above Video.
If you're going to be going out on limbs and making awful predictions here... where do you think will be the final outcome for the defending champions?
Due to injuries to come, they will be lucky to make the play-offs and when the do the above receiver will have his best game as a Rookie against the Packers, in turn finish off their season.
Who's your favorite Dolphin?
Larry Csonka
Do you play fantasy football?
I have, the past years I have been at Burning Man during the draft, so I do not get to do my own draft selections.
Any other porno sites that get your seal of approval?
No, believe it on not I do not visit too many sites.
Is there a deviant sexual act and/or position which you have dubbed Scroggystyle?
Now there is. ;D
If so, what does it entail?
Her on top, she rotates 90 degrees, not all the way to reverse cowgirl, but only half-way, from your POV you see her side view. She has one leg between yours(works well if laying on a couch where her leg between yours can get some stability from the floor), her hips sitting on top yours are about perpendicular to yours, not the Thigh Master position, with part of her back facing you, but her leg on the other side of your body and more of her facing you.
How did it come into being?
I was the board member of the Month on the forum and someone asked me, 'is there a deviant sexual act and/or position which you have dubbed Scroggystyle?' So I came up with this one.
if Have you actually engaged in it?
Not yet.
If not, what do you have to say for yourself?
I just thought it up today.
I'd be surprised if you didn't. Would you be upset if someone else called dibs on associating the name with an act/position for thinking it up first?
Not really, there are many Scroggie's here and over seas, it is a unique name, some what catchy, I would not be surprised if someone has a 'Scroggy-style' already. I mean, there already is the SCRoG way to grow things.
Would you rather hook up with Dr. Ruth Westheimer or "Talk Sex With Sue" Johanson?
Dr Ruth, she was trained as a sniper.
(Should I ask this one to all future male BMOTMs?)
NO! I have seen a lot of old vagina and I can say, sex with old people, unless your old, would be weird and some what not natural. This questions makes me feel unnatural.
Are you familiar with Dan Savage?
No, but I will google him.
What's the other book you're buying this weekend?
Before Roo I had not really listen to MMJ. Today, I walked into Barnes & Nobles and heard a familiar song, but the volume was low. I walked in trying to figure out the name of this song. I found myself in front of some books, the 'Bargain' stack of books. Then it hit me, Wonderful by MMJ. I smiled. Then I looked down and at my feet was the hard cover of
I laughed. Listening to Circuital, I stumbled about B&N for a bit, before asking help to find, Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance.

Um... injuries and lucky to make the playoffs were precisely the conditions by which the Packers made their Super Bowl run to begin with. There were three teams that final Sunday which could have made the playoffs, so the Packers made the playoffs by a slim margin. Yes, there was luck - for the better but also for the worse. We had one of the longest injured reserve lists in the league, including lead running back Ryan Grant (from the first game, no less) and stud tight end Jermichael Finley (who was actually in a close race with Greg Jennings for being the team's leading receiver when injured.) Even when they had to play backup quarterback Matt Flynn against the Patriots - a team you believe will win the next Super Bowl - the Packers were in it until the very last play of the game. Would you like to give me a reason the Packers won't repeat that they themselves haven't already proven they can overcome? Who would you draft first: Aaron Rodgers or Matt Ryan?
Quick bio: Dan Savage became known for his weekly sex advice column Savage Love, which originated as a feature in The Onion (whose birthplace is Madison WI) and has expanded to run in alternative weekly papers across the country. He branched out from being strictly an advice columnist into being a published author, editor and political commentator/advocate. He (and his readers) are responsible for the redefinition of Santorum as "the frothy mix of lube and fecal matter that is sometimes the byproduct of anal sex," which has caused the candidate campaign problems. More recently and more importantly, he initiated the It Gets Better Project, a media campaign to reassure young homosexuals that life does get better after those turbulent adolescent years. You can find his weekly Savage Love column here for free. I don't want to twist your arm into purchasing other books just yet, but I recommend his "Skipping Towards Gomorrah: The Seven Deadly Sins and the Pursuit of Happiness in America" or the Savage Love best-of collection (though you can probably just as easily browse the SL archives.)

Let me guess... was it in the Eastern Philosophy section? I went out to pick up its sequel Lila late last year and found them both in that section. Don't worry, it's not entirely philosophy. It's a father-son cross-country motorcycle trip, it's a man's battle with the ghost of his former self, it's how mankind deals with technology and modernity, it's a guide to traveling the high country of the mind... it's basically the best secular text on how one should live one's life that I've ever read. I first picked it up in the summer of 2000 and I've read that more than any other book. It's a slow start, but has a big payoff the further into it you get. I'll be curious to hear what you think of that. I'm also curious to know what you think of the Hitchhiker's Guide books; I haven't read those myself, which seems to surprise and sometimes frustrate advocates of the book who know me. Let me know how those go?

I know I'm late to the game on this one and forgive me for any repeats as I haven't read your whole month yet...
What is a common misconception others have of you? There are only two words to describe you, what are they? What personality type you are according to the Myers-Briggs assessment? If you were written about in the newspaper, on the front page, what would the headline say? On a scale of 1 to 10, how happy are you? How would you design a spice rack for a blind person? How often to you get massages (therapeutic, not asian spa)? Have you ever had your piriformis muscle released? What about your IT band? If so, which was more painful?
