Im stacked with all my gear, food and other essentials. I'm only bring a $100 this year. Strictly for party favors, late-night munching and maybe a shirt or something like that. The last few years I always brought over $300 and usually brought some of that back home. But due to financial reasons, this year is going to be a bit different.

I went in Thursday with $37 to my name. Left with $17. Granted, I had all the food, water, and beer I needed, and didn't need to buy any gear before I left. I also was in a group of 9 people that were all about sharing stuff, so we all did and everyone had a good time.
I actually did it with $200. Brought a ton of Odwalla and Clif bars, drank out of my Sigg bottle (which no one ever checked), and snuck of a lot of beer/booze in. I ate cheap when I chose to buy food (Corn dogs, $1 grilled cheese, etc). Ice was probably the #1 money killer outside of beers.

I left home Tuesday afternoon with $300 in my pocket. I made a few stops along the way, buying supplies including a tent, air mattress, beer, and food. When I left Manchester Mal-wart, I had around $30. Inside the Bonnaroo gates from around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday until I left shortly after noon Monday, I spent $6 on a Dale's Pale Ale Thusday night, $6 for a 22 lb. bag of ice Sunday morning for my 2 coolers, one of which was a 5-day, and $10 on a T-shirt Monday morning. I worked one 12 hour shift Thursday and was given one meal token, which I spent on an $8 Jambalaya on Saturday night.
On the way home, I stopped at several Wal-marts and returned the unused air mattress, the used tent, and a few other items and spent part of the proceeds to buy gas for the ride home.
We left town with $100 cash for two of us and some BP gas cards we got as "rewards" from our credit card... Monday morning we had $1 left.
Brought in our own food, cooking supplies, camp shower, beer, etc., so we did not have to spend much at 'Roo at all. Made breakfast (coffee, cereal or pancakes, etc) at camp every morning, packed snacks and tons of water in our backpacks, spent $6-$10 for lunch each day splitting a big pizza or falafel, made food at campsite for dinner most days or spent another $6-$10 to split something for dinner. Drank just the water from our backpacks. Bought some extra snacks or treats from Whole Foods for $2-4 a day. Ate great, was never hungry, saw 14 full shows and a smattering of partial shows, and had a kick-ass time!
So, if you are really well-prepared and bring your own stuff, and split the big foods, it can be done with $100 cash for two people for the weekend, but it was pretty tight. No t-shirts and no frills, but hotdamn we rocked our asses off. $200 would have made our lives cush. Then again, neither of us are big drinkers.

We did well this year. Brought in $140 bucks, had $1 left over when returning home. Did put $95 on a credit card for merch and a necklace. So 240 between 2 people is not bad at all
