I think it will be good. I'm sure it will be more light hearted than Breaking Bad, which is fine. Gilligan is said to be involved. I would be fine if they left it alone, but I think going with the prequel angle is better, and will keep the show from spinning off (see what I did there) into too ridiculous of an angle.
As much as I hate it, I think this is where we say goodbye to Hank. I have no real evidence from the episode to put towards this thought, just seems logical to me. His phone call to Marie could be seen almost as a "goodbye." Also, he barely survived an attack a couple seasons ago, surviving two? I don't know. He has become the character I am rooting for the most, so I hope I'm wrong.
I still can't help but think the Saul Goodman spin-off is Gilligan f*cking with us.
I really hope not. I think it'd be pretty awesome.
No doubt it would likely be a good show. I just think it's odd that a guy who has invested a lot in keeping the end of the series under wraps would let it be known well before the end of the series that a major character was going to make it.

Very interesting article about the last 3 episodes (warning does mention a slight spoiler in regards to who does and/or doesn't exist in the series in the second to last episode)
On who will die at the end of the show. No Spoilers.
The short answer is: We have no idea, which is why we turned to someone who has a little bit more experience with odds than we do. Kevin Bradley, a sportsbook manager for Bovada, is a huge fan of the show and was willing to take the time to give us what he believes are the hypothetical odds that Walt, Jesse, Skyler, Saul, and Hank will die before the series ends:
I haven't seen Walt do anything yet that made me lose empathy or hate him. I keep waiting for this "unforgivable" thing but everything he's done seems to have been done out of necessity, or stupidity, and I just can't hate someone for doing something stupid. Idk, maybe I have issues; maybe I'm a little bit in love with Walter White.
I've been watching 2-4 episodes a day to catch up, and I finally got to S5 e12 last night. I didn't know what to do all day today without any BB to watch.
I was standing in a store yesterday trying to find some new cloths and realized that everything I tried on was either black or gray, which is a big change from my normal palette of browns and greens. Now I'm worried about my soul or getting shoot in the face. Thanks Breaking Bad

Pouring shot after shot of tequila for Walter Jr. over Hank's objections, until WJ puked in the pool...that was I quit sympathizing with our ol' buddy Heisenberg. I actually quit watching the show for a while after that.
Interesting that Walt's the meat in the sandwich, there...I guess from that photo we can construe that Holly gets kidnapped by the Nazis and Gus Fring rises from the dead to kill Banquo.
