Rice with eggs topped with nori Komi furikake rice seasoning... And that will be my dinner until the barrel of rice is gone or I suddenly have lots of extra money.
Not dinner but I made a big plate of scrambled eggs with tripe, cilantro, lime, and dragon sauce for breakfast.
Home made. I bought some radishes and scallions today at the market and I have some ginger I need to use up.
And um ... Dragon Sauce! Friday for you, when I can. Lovelovelove. Om nom nom nom. I usually use it for a marinade but I'm betting that tastes good with eggs, as well.

I've been practicing my Practical exam the weekend before. I have two a semester. Next ones are Fruit/Veggies and then I have Meat/Seafood/Poultry after that. So if you wanted to make a weekend of it, just come on up.

Dude, don't tempt me. I will skip the seafood thing (do not like) but I love me some meat, poultry, fruit and veggies!
My mom gave me some fresh squash and cucumbers from her garden yesterday.... any suggestions on what I should do with them?

If it were me ... I'd make a relish. Relatively simple and puts some umph into some chicken.
If you wanted to go fresh (and you should) I'd say a nice yellow squash salad with a pomegranate vinaigrette and put some well placed cucumbers in that.
There really is so much you can do with that combo.
And I will tempt you. I always have people over and make pseudo menus for everyone to choose from.
1/8 cup shredded peeled cucumbers 1/4 cup diced seeded squash 2 tbsp chopped onion 1/2 tsp canning salt 1/8 red bell pepper, chopped 1/8 green bell pepper, chopped 3 tbsp white sugar 1 tbsp white vinegar 1/8 tsp cornstarch 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg 1/8 tsp ground turmeric 1/8 tsp celery seed 1/8 tsp ground black pepper
Season Cucumbers and Squash in a large mixing bowl and refrigerate overnight.
Rinse and drain mixture.
Place peppers, sugar, vinegar, and cornstarch in a pot and mix well. Then add the nutmeg, turmeric, celery seed and pepper and mix again. Bring to boil and reduce heat to a medium-low heat after adding cucumber/squash. Simmer for 10 minutes.
If you don't have tumeric don't worry about it. Skip that.
Then here you go. You should have enough there.

Ok, not dinner, but I'm looking for some good breakfast recipes. I have friends coming in to town next weekend and want to make something awesome for breakfast. Last time I made quiche, and I almost always make pancakes, so I'm looking for something different. (Also I'm allergic to cinnamon so I won't make anything that requires it)
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.
