I went to a Lost party, then came home to this. I'm impressed with everyone-- reading through this thread was like a good book. It had everything: suspense, intrigue, twists, resolution. Awesome.
Chandler, you don't seem too thrilled about trying to go to this bar. I'd be more than happy to do it if I lived anywhere near it. We believe in you. Upon your triumphant return you will be showered in karma, and I'll lobby for a special title for you: Clue Sleuth.
no car, so I'm gonna take the PRT down to Walnut and walk. Its not too far I dont think.
oh i thought it was in Knoxville or something, im not reading close enough.. just seen you live in WV so i was thinking you had some really good dedication to travel that far haha
haha, no its just a couple miles from me. I've been meaning to go in there to see what kinda selection they had. Now I have an excuse.
Hey farmhound... if you're reading... how bout you be environmentally friendly and just tell us what's hanging up instead of forcing someone to use gas...

WOW, how cool is this....a scavenger hunt...neat! They really did their prep work this year. GOOD work everyone. We are awesome (well not me on this one, I wasn't here for all of the banter) I wonder if the owner of Gene's knows what is going on? Does djjd live near there or anything?
Hey Chandler - Isn't that place in South Park? For some reason I remember the name as being "Gene's Beer Distributors" instead of Gene's Beer Garden.
Not sure just where it is. I mapquested it, so I'll find my way there after I get out of class at 4. I'll report back my findings as soon as I get home.

I'm pretty sure he's from TN. I am confused/inrigued by this poster in West Virginia...

You totally have my permission to skip class.
I would by my last class is my favorite, the professor is cute as hell, and we're kind of reviewing for a quiz, so...I promise. I'll get back to you guys as soon as I can.
this is officially not fun anymore. I thought the clues were going to be more accessible to the general public, not just the same ten inforoo people who all know each other well. boooo, djjd

^^^School is important, so I support your decision. But I want to add that when you go to Gene's:
1. Bring a digital camera, photograph the poster so we can see 2. Bring a pen and paper so you can record what it says exactly (this is especially critical if you can't bring a camera)
Roo radio is in Colorado, right? This Gene's place is a whole time zone away if that's true. The time we'd be able to solve it was initially Friday, but the guy at the bar said Bonnaroo was putting up a poster ]Thursday/today. That discrepancy might have something to do with shipping time for said poster, and if this is the case I think Chandler might not be going for the entire answer - just a piece of the puzzle.

You rock, man.
As long as you've got the digital camera, Chandler, can you photograph this "cute as hell" professor so we can see too? This clue is for the men, right?

Just to clarify- the clues are all over the place - mostly on internet and all of them are on bonnaroo radio or will also be on mr. zimmys bonnaroo.com site, which is available to all. Twitter, eg, is available to all.
I have no idea who knows who. Most of the ones planted in special places have been the results of general google searches or twitter searches. I can't give more away than that-
I have been boo'd enough in my life when I attempt to sing- so that's just piling on.
I hope you keep playing, there are more wacky things to come.

I'm very happy with the clues this year...they are more difficult, but fun! Thanks for them, and your creativity.

They were probably saying Boo-urns, Boo-urns...
But seriously I think the amount of people paying attention to this stuff, speaks for itself...

I wouldn't say I know anyone here well at all, really.
Except for "enemy". But he's not around much and has nothing to do with the clues.

I'd check the bathrooms... both public and private (if they let you in to check). Once in the bathrooms... pockets could refer to the stalls themselves. You might need to lift up the toilet seat (possibly stuffed in the water box section of the toilet). I doubt that it's that hidden, but it's worth a shot.
If not in the bathrooms... I dunno where else to tell you to look. Maybe there's a section only for guys? At least we know it's supposed to be a poster and not just scribble on some random table.

another idea may be around pool tables since it did mention pockets.
however i really think its a mens bathroom(because ladies dont venture there) and im guessing its gonna be a poster or something, not just a flyer. flyers often get torn down so it has to be something djjd is sure will still be there.

Definitely check the men's bathroom, yes. The phrase “in one of two Gene’s pockets, where ladies venture not” to me clearly means the men’s room. The two bathrooms are the two pockets of Gene’s (jeans), and this is the one where ladies don’t go. Hopefully once in there it will be obvious—but my assumption is that’s where the poster will be displayed.

Either that or Gene just isn't a ladies man and djjd is making fun of him.
