Hey guys... I'm pretty sure what he meant was that he's obscured by cloudy judgement and "what does a taser sound like"? BUZZ! He's obscured by the BUZZ of bands...
I think we can rule this out. The fact that the soundslike was together and in quotes indicates he was using a charades-esque format of trying to get us to guess. One would say sounds like pretty quickly and almost in parentheticals for giving a clue like that in charades (i.e. nonverbally). I don't think it's the sound a tazer makes...
i think what has been trying to tell us is he cant give us the clues here. so we had to find him on twitter.
This seems good, but if he can't give us clues here (Superfly was pissed cus of last year), it wouldn't make sense for us to figure it out and then post it in this thread cus then Superfly would just check out twitter....I don't know, just thinkin'

I just think twitter will have clues as well...maybe back and forth since maybe that is his split personality...wow DJJD you are so good at this...can't wait to meet you at the brunch this year...i will totally make it no matter what!

I wouldn't worry too much. JD isn't "going rogue" or anything...if he wasn't allowed to be giving us all these clues he wouldn't be, especially in such public forums. there's no reason to not guess here, I think it's more an issue of being impartial. not really fair to have clues here where they will be even harder to find for non-members. wouldn't be surprised if he starts giving out the twitter on the air down the road.
guys, the Jonathan Davis thing is a dead end. the twitter is clearly the way to go (even though most of you know that by now).
EDIT: I stand corrected. This maize thing could make it a decent lead. Only problem being that Korn (the band) wouldn't cloud his judgement really. Sure, corn the product would...
the chickadee and birds thing was a pretty clever way to refer to twitter.
so here's a question, could the AC/DC thing have been leading up to this split personality clue? I think that's the case. the ears big and open/ho ho ho was posted before christmas. I would say discount this entirely. The one half of DJJD is the radio, the other half is the twitter. The hound was all leading up to the farmhound.
I think we should try to establish which clues are still to be solved. The radio/dadio thing seems to me like both saying to listen to the radio and also a possible neil young clue, as has been said.
The tazer clue we still need to work on of course. Some easy rhymes: laser, phaser, razor/raiser, blazer, haze...
wow, good job guys!!! i had a feeling there was something else up and the clues werent really clues for bands. i agree with everyone who is saying he's just been trying to get us to his twitter the entire time.

Well, I planned on doing some things tomorrow, now I'm not so sure they will get done. As I most likely will be staying inside out of the fridged cold, enjoying some corn, and watching everyone try to figure out the clues. Happy guessing
Good job everyone....I guess we can put all of our guesses for these clues on hold, and use them for the real clues that are coming....hold nothing back everyone!!! Yeah!
ok so we will be patiently (HAHA) waiting till tomorrow
WAIT...so MAIZE doesn't rhyme with tazer but it does sound like it....and KORN would cloud your judgement..ie inforoo slang...am I just going crazy here?? ???

he keeps pretty close tabs on how quickly these get solved. the twitter page said "well done you three", and then 37 minutes later it changed to "you five". Does that mean someone figured out another vital detail? it seems wierd that he would go back and acknowledge two more people like that....
Freitag, a German weekly newspaper published in Berlin People with the surnames Freitag or Freytag:
Arny Freytag, American photographer Barbara Freitag Bernd von Freytag-Loringhoven (1914-2007), Baltic German general Elsa von Freytag-Loringhoven (1874-1927), Dada-artist Herta Freitag Holger Freitag Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Freytag (1788-1861), German philologist Gustav Freytag (1816-1895), German dramatist
Freytag's pyramid Jacques Freitag (born 1982), South African high jumper John Freitag Libor Charfreitag (born 1977), Slovak hammer-thrower Wessel von Freytag-Loringhoven (1899-1944), Baltic German member of the resistance against Adolf Hitler Willy Freitag Jerod Freitag (1978- ), Texas born Wisconsin thinker and general menace to himself. Freitag is the German word for Friday.
It was 1993 when Markus and Daniel Freitag, both brothers and graphic designers, were in need of a bag. Zurich locals ride bikes. And they get rained on a lot. So the Freitag Bros. wanted a functional, tough, and water-resistant bag to carry their designs. Inspired by the colorful traffic on the highway extension in front of their apartment, they sewed together a messenger bag from an old truck tarp, took seat belts for straps and used a spare bicycle inner tube to keep the edges from fraying.
Quite unintentionally, the brothers landed a hit. Today FREITAG products are sold and copied all around the globe. Since the original messenger, Markus and Daniel have put out more than 40 different products, with more in the pipeline and even more up their sleeves. Nevertheless, FREITAG products are still produced in Switzerland, next to that same highway extension.
