LOL!! I think I posted this story before, but to get to the point... My friends and I were running around Centeroo on Thursday night last Roo and for some reason (influenced by stuff) I decided to shake one of the bobbleheads a little too violently back and forth to try to make his head bobble around. When pieces of paper mache started raining down, some Roo staffer ran over to us and tried to catch us but we all ran away as fast as we could as some other dudes ran over to it and started to try to do the same thing I was doing

this brings up another important issue that i think a lot of you have not fully considered. what are the safety ramifications of these anual death traps? what if next time roo security isnt there, and your precious bobbleheads happen to fall on an unsuspecting group of rooers? are YOU prepared to accept responsibility for the consequences of your inaction in regards to this matter? i know i'm not.
and mikearoo, im just gonna consider that as a signature, thank you for your support.

Can we have the bobbleheads torn down and replaced with giant piles of money? They could provide extra seating...you could sit on the various stacks... And maybe we could jam a giant umbrella into each stack, for shade.

i'd miss the bobbleheads if they were to disappear... i say just add some cool looking painted/light up psychedelic umbrella type dealies to the mix and we'll be all set!
I don't think they should tear them down, but I have been disappointed with the lack of interactive art additions in the last few years. Seems like they just keep pulling the same art out of the same manchester storage shed every year. Art of Such and Such was cool, but it's been there, what 3 years now? 2? Sonic Forest was cool too, but same thing year in and year out.
we need new art! period!
All Points West had a cool installation, called the Doo Lab. I think Rothbury had it too. It was a DJ set up with these cool trippy little colorful art-pavilion things. It was pretty neat. Roo needs something like that.
tear em down! replace them all with kanye bobbleheads
where do i sign nol?
now we're talkin! just sign any place in that little text box at the bottom of your screen, and your 5 complimentary karma points should arrive soon afterwards.
i can understand if people want to keep the bobbleheads for nostalgia's sake, but this was my first roo and to be honest i did think they were kind of scary/creepy.
i FOR SURE agree with the idea of big umbrellas. that would be boss.
so in conclusion, i guess i would say i'm for anything that makes more shade..
*i like coconuts, you can break them open they smell like ladies lyin in the sun** *Hell I don't even know where I am** *for now I must sit here and ponder the yonder: The herbivores did well cause their food didn't never run** *We listen, if it feels good We shake** *You made a big impression for a girl of your size, Now I can't get by without you and your big brown eyes.**

We do need more art there, not saying that what they have now isnt good enough but theres times in the morning where i just like to go wander around aimlessly and look at cool stuff

This past year was my first roo... i remember seeing pics of the bobbles and was super excited to see them... DON"T tear them down! Plus they act as super good meeting spots

well well well, i say leave the bobble heads, just disperse them throughout centeroo, this would be the best, and more interactive art, we need some thing at roo like the sherwood forest at roth
The stringworld pod that they had last year was pretty cool, they could make something like that on a much bigger scale, and then put a bunch of trippy lighting on it...actually most of the pod art projects last year were cool, i just think there needs to be a lot more of it! More art areas to explore, and more tripped-out places to chill at and meet each other...
