If there's one thing we can all agree on, it's that arlene's posts are headache inducing.
True that I do not mind arguing with someone who has an ideologically different position from me, but good lord you can at least try to make a little sense.
I'm really amazed that proboards understands and caters specifically to my relationship needs. Though I do prefer ex-cons over those currently incarcerated.

I'm pretty sure people have said that your ideology isn't the problem. Rooter, for example, seems to agree with most of the ideas you're trying to convey. Look, grammar may seem like an unnecessary formality to you, but most of your posts are so hard to decipher that people truly don't know what you're saying. Whether this is a dumb message board or not, if you want people to take your ideas seriously, you should present them in a serious manner. That doesn't mean you have to be perfect in your grammar and spelling, but it does mean that you have to at least try to sound like a reasonably educated adult.
Arlene, your difficult to read posts are a valid concern. It seems like your posts are written by two different people. if u don't like what people are saying about you, put together a reasonable and comprehensive argument. That tends to shut people up. But when you respond by badgering people and being nonsensical. You start sounding like some dumb cable news blowhard. We DON'T need more of those! Btw, that police helicopter that got blown up in altona. Holy shit! That's a crazy story.

It's atrue story look it up not hard to find. I at least offered a solution to eliminating the national debt. It was'nt clear enough so come up with one that will put more people to work collect more taxes with as little taken away by greedy people as my preposal.

You don't get it, so I have to assume your brain is probably fried.
Once again, your message isn't the problem. It's the indecipherable way you express it. If you have a condition that makes you unable to type coherently then please let us know. If you don't, then spend a little more time on making your posts coherent.

In your proposal, how are the farmers paid? How much are they paid? Who decides which people get to be government contracted farmers? Can the computer decide these things?
Who tests for quality? Who decides what quality means in this case? How is quality regulated? How is it packaged? How is it distributed? Can the computer do and decide these things?
Where exactly do the profits go? Which parts of the debt are paid down first? Which parts of the debt are next, and so on? Can the computer decide these things?
You seem to think that tax money just goes to greedy people, but there are real overhead costs that you seem to be ignoring.

My suggestion of legalization of cannabis. Buying it from gouvernment owned outlets. All proceeds from those outlets pay off our national debt. No need for any big salleries because it is all computer controled. After debt is paid in full put all monies toward another necessity. Is that clear or is there need to break it down even further?

Look take a deep breath and read every post out loud to yourself before you click the button. If something sounds a little funny when it is read out loud go back and edit it until you reach coherence.

1.Farmers are paid the same amount that the are paid now to not grow food. 2. You musy apply for a licenseto grow if you are not already farming. 3. Take the standards that are established in Holland, or Canada,or California, and any other medical marijuana state. 4.Again take the standards already established in the above cited locations. 5.regulated the same way alcohol is regulated by age. 6.Distributed via vacuum sealed packages by weight. 7.The debt start with the highest interest rate and work towards the lowest. 8.No the computer is given the formulas for all of the above and it can work. After all we have vidieo dispensing machines that contact the main office if there is greater need for a certain vidieo. I did take the time to figure it all out. It's easier than rocket science in todays automated society.

Thank you I accept your olive branch. It's just that alot goes on up here due to the two indian reservations. We actually got to see the indians in Altona N,Y shoot down a N,Y police helicopter then take over the town and not one indian go to jail. The police were flying over the reservation looking for canabis. Now we have cars going to Malone for the reservation there going accross the border to the reservation on the Canadian side (same reservation on both sides just two differrent countrys) cigarettes, canabis ,liquor, people.

Tensions of another kind started to mount on the St. Regis Mohawk Reservation. In the summer of 1989, federal agents raided casinos that were operated illegally on the reservation, arresting more than a dozen people. That event sparked tensions between two factions on the reservation: those who supported the casinos and those who wanted them closed. On March 23, 1990, anti-casino supporters set up blockades on routes 37 and 37C to protest the continued operation of casinos. About 30 to 60 Mohawks stationed themselves at the barricades and only let residents enter the reservation. State Police also set up informational roadblocks to advise people about what was happening on the reservation. But there was no legal action taken to remove the blockades. Pro-gambling Mohawks moved onto the scene three days later with bulldozers to move the roadblocks. But gambling opponents formed a human chain, singing "Give Peace a Chance," and the incident ended with an agreement to talk through the issue. ••• A few days later, on March 30, residents of the Ganienkeh Reservation in Altona began a separate altercation. As a medivac helicopter flew about 200 feet above the Indian territory, someone from the ground fired shots at the aircraft, hitting a civilian doctor aboard and forcing the aircraft to land in a field on Ganienkeh property. The helicopter was on a mission from Vermont Medical Center to Massena but had been turned back by bad weather when it was hit. Dr. James Van Kirk was wounded when a bullet passed through his arm and neck and skimmed his face. He later recovered from the wounds. Tensions mounted the next day when Ganienkeh residents did not allow police investigators onto their property. Troopers placed CVPH Medical Center and Altona Correctional Facility on alert in case violence erupted during the standoff. The Mohawks set up a blockade on Military Turnpike at the Ganienkeh border, and State Police erected a blockade 100 yards to the east. Police insisted on going onto the reservation because a crew member in the helicopter said he spotted someone on the ground from within Ganienkeh territory who appeared to be firing a rifle just before the helicopter was hit. The crew member even identified a building with a green roof near where the man had been standing. The Mohawks insisted that the shots did not come from their property and were investigating the case themselves. Citing their sovereignty, they refused the state's requests. At one point, Ganienkeh spokesperson Peter Diome said he was 99.9 percent certain that violence would result in the standoff and people would get killed. But cooler heads prevailed, and the stalemate ended 10 days after the blockades went up. State Police and FBI agents conducted a free investigation on April 9. Ganienkeh high-stakes bingo, which had opened against the state's wishes in 1989, had been closed during the standoff but was set to open two days after the ban was lifted.
Arlene, you said it was a police helicopter. It was a Medivac helicopter. You have your facts wrong. Arlene, you said this "police" helicopter was looking for cannabis being grown. It was a Med-flight with a patient on board. You have your facts wrong. Arlene, you said the helicopter was shot down. The source you cited claims the helicopter was able to land on tribal territory. How can a helicopter be able to land if it has been shot down? You have your facts wrong. Arlene, how am I supposed to trust what you say when you are reluctant to reveal your sources... and wrong on the facts when your sources are revealed?

Heres what I know because I was logging on the reservation with an indian crew. They were doing low level flying over the reservation with f16 and helicopters. The indians contacted the feds and said they would shoot the next plain that went over. No more plains went over. Then the state police started flying over one went down myself and four others on the crew were told to get off indian land. As we were leaving the rest of the crew dropped 70' pine trees across the main road into and out of Altona. We were told stay home untill we are called by the boss. The town was shut down completly no one allowed in and no one allowed out. Federal agents came and interviewed the five of us put all of us under a lie detector asked us if we were involved or saw who was involved. Over three hours of questioning before we were allowed to leave. We were all told we could not talk to anyone we worked with. Now I know what saw and that was a crashed helicopter with N,Y state police on the side. There was no medical helicopter any where near the aeria. The guy that did the shooting lives ten minuets from my house has never gone to jail the two troopers that went onto the reservation were shot at and the state of N,Y has never returned.
Amid debate on whether the allies will arm the retreating and undertrained rebels, a U.S. intelligence source told CNN the CIA is in the country to increase the "military and political understanding" of the situation.
"Yes, we are gathering intel firsthand and we are in contact with some opposition entities," said the source.
The White House refused to comment on a Reuters report that President Barack Obama has signed a secret order authorizing covert U.S. government support for rebel troops.
Anyone still want to tell me this isn't going to be war?
I don't want to hear any NATO hogwash either... we (should) all know that NATO and the U.S. government/military are far from mutually exclusive.
I am also curious to hear from those of you who opposed invading Iraq who are now saying that we should be involved in Libya for "humanitarian reasons" - on a forum like this, I'm sure you're out there... Wouldn't these same "humanitarian reasons" have been justification enough to go into Iraq, with or without WMDs?

Libya is different from Iraq due to the unique transformation of northern Africa right now. Qadddafi's attacks on his citizenry, rebels and civilians alike, have led to refugees fleeing to Tunisia and Egypt. These two countries are in a fragile state of democracy, and refugees to these places would add a sectarian burden they can't afford right now.
The Mexican drug wars have led to an increase in Mexican immigration which has caused resentment in many regions of our country and we're a 300 year old democracy. Imagine one that is only about a month or two old. (They called themselves democracies, but let's be blunt they were dictatorships)
Qaddafi's ruthless tactics to prevent his dwindling power are just as alarming as Milosevic was in Bosnia. If the world did not intercede, Qaddafi would have massacred his own people on a massive scale.
Iraq was different, because the reason Saddam Hussein gassed the Kurds is because they were cooperating with Iranians during the Iraq-Iran war in the 80's. Albeit brutal and deplorable, it's not the same as citizens protesting for change.
