I'm making a mix CD for my boyfriend's birthday of love songs that make me think of him. ;D It's pretty cheesy but I'm keeping the selections pretty light-hearted/eclectic for the most part so as not to make either of us nauseous. I just completed the playlist and was looking it over and realized there is not a single female singer on the whole thing! Maybe its not a big deal but I kinda want to include at least a couple female singers for the sake of diversity, since otherwise the CD is a pretty good mix, not to mention its from me, a girl, to him, a boy, so that would be appropriate right? My problem is I can't find a single song sung by a woman that A) I like B) is about love & relates to our relationship somehow and C) isn't mega cheesy. I didn't think it was going to be this hard! So anyway, before throwing in the towel and leaving it as-is, I figured I'd ask some of you music-lovin' Inforoosters if you knew of any great songs that belong on there. Thanks kids!

Fade Into You - Mazzy Star Sour Times - Portishead If I Can't Fly - Honey Cone Pretty much anything off of Beth Orton's Central Reservation Differently - Q-Burn's Abstract Message Deathly - Aimee Mann He Made a Woman Out of Me - Bettye LaVette All Is Full Of Love - Bjork Wuthering Heights - Kate Bush (this song is actually pretty cheesy, but I like it anyway)
All we have to believe with is our senses, the tools we use to perceive the world: our sight, our touch, our memory. If they lie to us, then nothing can be trusted. And even if we do not believe, then still we cannot travel in any other way than the road our senses show us; and we must walk that road to the end.
