i remember some topless girls - they were "painted" I guess, but it was really just some color smeared all over the place. Not very artistic... Actually, I remember seeing a bunch of people that day who had body paint all over them, so maybe there was some naked-bodypaint-Twister!

i seem to remember butterfly boobies as well... maybe thats one of my crazy dreams... I'd get naked if it wasn't for the fact this ain't Europe and swangin' wangs aint as fasionable as boobs.

Im not saying there arent creepshows out there doing the painting, but most i've met and talked to have been pretty chill and talented people...
Hell i like stopping by and checking out the works in progress, no reason they shouldnt enjoy what they do... So long as they do it well and respectfully... Fratboys with video cameras standing on top of rented RV's screaming "show me your tits!!!!" have left a much bigger mark in my memory than body painters lol That and blatent prostitution at the IT festival....

I kept throwing (small) firecrackers into some dudes campsite because thats all I kept hearing from there. They just kept screaming that at girls walking by. I dont know what makes me sadder. The fact that there are guys out there like that who actually get chicks with that kind of attitude. Or the fact that there are poor girls with daddy issues who enjoy that kind of attention.
I was born in the back seat of a Yellow Cab in a hospital loading zone and with the meter still running. I emerged needing a shave and shouted 'Time Square, and step on it!

LMAO you guys are all great. The body painting people i encountered were very cool... it was all airbrushed, so there was no touching, and the only people laughing/gawking (that i noticed) were my 3 chicky friends. The detail was incredible though. And yes, i'm pretty sure it was a blue butterfly with a purple background, or vice versa, would be very funny if it was me you saw. I don't have any pics because all my bonnaroo pics got ruined by being in my car in the heat/humidity of georgia, but a couple friends have some, i'll see if i can get one. It so doesn't even look like i'm topless at first glance though, the artwork was pretty good.
I don't remember seeing any nudity last year - but that does not mean it wasn't there I I just did not notice it - the crowd really did not seem like one that would freak at it

Yeah, not worth it in my mind. I loved slip n' slide when I was a kid....but even then, I would get tired of it after the 6th or 7th run cause we had the grand canyon growing in our yard. It was huganticly painful and to quote Dane Cook, it should actually be called "Slip n' bleed from the anus"
what i wanna know is where the hell did they get the water to run a slip-n-slide? i don't know about you guys but i was paying $5 a bag for ice, and though i didn't buy any bottled water because i brought all mine with me, i imagine it was anywhere between $2-$4 a bottle. who in their right mind(oops i forgot we're talkin about 'roo here either brought enough water to run a slip-n-slide (which i'm guessing requires many gallons) or could afford to -buy- enough water for it?
Maybe I'll throw myself to the dogs, but my back's not to the wall Maybe I'll lay some bricks for the man, but the days just aren't that long So if I settle back and chill will I see far enough to feel the angel's dream? I thought it was the Story of the World!

in 2004 some friends were camped in tent-only area, and it started raining bad so we had a slip n slide contest. These dudes brought a pool cover and had set up camp with like a small city of 6 or so tents under the pool cover (great idea btw) and they ripped a bit of the cover to make the slip n slide.
they were getting kids to slip n slide and it was funny because the slip n slide LOOKED fun, but everyone who tried it basically just faceplanted in the grownd and got dirty.
more like slip n skid!
Some chick did it and her top came off. It was entertainment during the get-drunk-its-raining bonaroo moment.

I have a couple of pictures of the slip-n-slide (pictures 1224 & 1225 on my 2006 album in the Bonnaroo pictures link above) Not sure if they used water only, the sliders were going at in pretty good clip when they smacked the hay bales at the bottom
