Sometimes I find myself almost "addicted" to a messageboard, where I feel I have to check in on it at least a couple times a day and read every new post... and right now Inforoo is doing that to me.....
I'm not always like this, I try to have a life away from my computer. But I have a feeling that until bonnaroo hits, I'm gonna be all over this board...
I've gone through other "phases" like this with other messagboards, but I really only have time to keep up with one board at a time...
Other boards I have frequented in the past include:
I am a messege board Polygimist. And Inforoo is the 3rd edition to my family (i just finished watching Big Love)
My first board is the forums for the Internet Radio Station/Community Y100Rocks.com. Those of you from the philly area know who Y100 was, well even though Radio 1 took them off the air, they still stream on the internet
And the other feeds my addiction for TV. Mortystv.com messege boards. I have an issue with reality competition shows .. .. lol
I'm on Friendster and Tribe.net. Tribe is pretty cool. It's like Friendster, but you can join tribes (aka message boards). There are 1,000's of them. There's a Bonnaroo '06 tribe. I started a Tom Petty tribe. I'm sure there are tribes for jam bands. There are tribes for everything you can think of: music, cultures, school, businesses, hobbies, travel, religion, and so much more. It's pretty fun. Anyone else on there?
I like the local foodie sites. You think someone gets their panties in a knot because their band dissed on this site, these people can and do get the media, the bloggers, and all or their foodie friends together to make life hell for anyone that suggests a chef/and or restaurant was less than mind-blowing, and they will use any tactics, available to harrass them until they recant or slink away, i saw a guy's ebay buisness ruined because he felt slighted. but it is fun to watch, these people, and am glad to be at a place they like.

Hey man, if you're bored you're always welcome on theRhombus.com.... Kind people and lots to talk about. Everything from debate forums, analyzing forums, everyday topics, and things for musicians (if that's your fancy).... Check it out.
Everyone experiences music differently. To say that something is subjectively wrong with live music is to also say that you are more than just your credentials or experience. It says that you are above whatever it is that you see as being the standard. Breaking everything down critically to the point where you are above every matter looking down on it only isolates you and makes you look foolish.
