Oh I went to Brussels Belgiuum also. Very nice there. Frankly I thought Europe was pretty boring and it all looked the same of all the places on my list.... England, Scotland, Spain, Bulgaria would be the ONLY places Id give 2 $hits about seeing in europe ever again. Italians are pricks, the French are pricks. Don't believe me? go there.
I'm with you on the warm, sunny places, aside from the French riviera Europe lacks that. Completely.

Looks like you and I are the only ones with Middle East experience
Ummm ....and no offense but ya'll can keep it....at least for me! I worked with Saudi Tel for a year and a half....did telecons weekly...that was plenty nuff for me....no desire to actually visit... Don't think THEY had any desire to get me over there either from the frosty politeness of the convos.... LOL!

Yeah...Europe isn't exactly known for warm and sunny...at least most of the year tho I have been there for heat waves...and...w/o AC in most hotels that ain't exactly pleasant!
But I LOVED Brussels! Probably my fave place in Europe so far! The beer, chocolate, food....esp seafood...all WONDERFUL! And the people were really friendly esp compared to the French and Germans... Would actually SPEAK English to you - LOL!

They were just shocked to hear of a woman in the workplace. They know a woman's place is in the home.
Ducking to avoid the mega karma smite that is about to rain down upon me....

Yeah I spent the day there, we were ported in Antwerp which was also amazing, by amazing I'm obviously refering to the red light district and bars LOL, But yeah people were great there. I've been to 5 cities in France (Brest, Tulon, Cherbourg, Cannes, Nice) and 4 in Italy (Pisa, Rome, Gaeta, Naples) and all were the same outcome. It still boggles me how they never give you the check at restaurants in Europe. You could sit there for an entire day and unless you ask for it they'll never bring you a check. lol.

LOL! And the garden...and the restaurant kitchen and the sweat shops....and stock rooms... Oh...they will work them to DEATH...literally...and the kids too....just so long as you don't actually SEE them...or any PART of them...in public... Or hear them...I guess that's what upset them about me...I'm not exactly silent....on the phone...online...even with smileys! ;D ;D ;D Subtle....quiet....not my strong points....guess ya'll have notice huh???

Well most of you know I went to India last year. That and Jamaica are about it for me.
Here's pics of me in my Inforoo shirt hiking in front of Kachenjunga (world'd 3rd tallest mtn) and my wife at the Taj Mahal which most of you have already seen.

Ah, the Hagia Sophia. Shame what the invaders did to it.
I have really not been anywhere. I've barely been around the country. Once on a family vacation out west we drove up and spent the night in Queen Victoria. That was my single experience outside the US. Pathetic.
