Yet it is in this loneliness that the deepest activities begin. It is here that you discover act without motion, labor that is profound repose, vision in obscurity, and, beyond all desire, a fulfillment whose limits extend to infinity.

Misplaced my keys + my Mother being an hour late to watch the kids has turned into a day off. I have a great album playing, a book ready on my kindle, a hot cup of coffee, and the kids still asleep. I do believe it's going to be a good day.

All my bills were due today and that really sucks... but at least I have everything I need and the ability to pay for it. School and 2 jobs has taken quite a toll on me mentally and physically this semester... but I'm getting a sweet education in something I love and providing for myself.
It's hard to look at the big picture sometimes. So yay for being able to find the bright side of things.

Yay! for you helping me put things in perspective this afternoon.
The powers that be have somehow allowed Spotify back into my work life! Recommendations welcome! Sounds so silly but I'm at a desk all day. Have a great day everyone and remember to be grateful for the small things.

They just took mine away a few weeks ago. Im hoping with the Windows upgrade Im getting this week they somehow forget about it. Fortunately I can make my playlists at home and still use it I just dont have free reign to whatever I want all day long.
And clearly you aren't a rapist (I hope) but the way you pop into any thread where a woman happens to be lamenting her lack of ride to Bonnaroo and tell them to come hop on your bus sounds extremely rapey.
I seriously want to go crazy, the radio at my work is awful. I've heard that Sara Barellis song like four times already and will likely 1-2 more times before 5 pm. And then the Christmas music started this week too.
So what's my yay? I go home and blast metal as loud as I want. Angry, hate filled, precious metal. Death, black, extreme, speed, thrash, funeral doom, stoner, all the good stuff. \\m//

I was informed today that we're closing the daycare the entire week of Christmas AND New Years Eve and Day. I'm gonna have 11 days off work! I won't get paid but at this point it's worth it. I desperately need a break.
They actually called me into the office yesterday for getting on Spotify, Soundcloud, and here. Told me no mas. I was about ready to turn in my resignation... but remembered I have a car payment due next week.
Edit: I guess my YAY! could be that I didn't get written up!

Phones have to stay in our lockers, unless we are on our lunch break...

Please indulge me this special YAY. Today is my 15th anniversary to an amazing woman. I wanted to share my FB post with you since I'm not FB friends with most of you, but you have been as close to me this past year as many of my real life friends. Thank you.
15 years, 3 kids, 21,900 kisses, 187,362 laughs, 420 movies, 213 concerts, 842 parties, and 41,323 deep conversations on life and the universe, and I still get a little weak-kneed every time I really look at my best girl, Mary. And I still look forward to many more kisses, laughs, movies, concerts, parties, and conversations. Three kids is good though - think we're okay there.

I love the "Three kids is good though-" Your wife is a lucky one and sounds like you also hit the jackpot. Congrats and I hope for years more happiness for both of you.
