So i just found out Bob Weir and Ratdog are playing the Woods at Fontanel (it is literally around the corner from my house and I can walk there!!), in September. I was SO bummed that I missed them at the Ryman in March because i was out of town, so this has made my day Anyone else going? I will probably be going alone.
when in September is it....if its a weekend I might be game. Surely my life will have calmed down by then

September 14th. It's a Sunday night. I already got a reserved seat ticket for myself, but if you get a GA one, I will sit in GA Let me know. I live 1/2 a mile from there, so I can walk to the show
I'm absolutely in love with the house, it's everything I want and new construction. Plus the location is ideal and perfect for my current job. AND there is a Taco Bell literally within walking distance!!!!!!!!
Crossing my fingers I can get in a contract before this weekend.
They accepted the offer!
The house is almost mine. Just gotta go forward with the inspections and such.
My dad went in for his photo shoot of his head after this latest round of chemo.
NOTHING BUT BRAIN!
such good news.
Thanks, girl. It's been a rough year for our family. It was completely out of the blue and then handled extremely aggressively. For whatever reason, it worked. So all of the sleepless nights, arguments, and stress was worth it. At least for now. And for that, I'm thankful.
the weather was beautiful today! i planted my whole garden and more! tomatoes, peppers, lettuce, spinach, kale, swiss chard, cucumbers, zucchini and beans! also transplanted a few sunflowers, some parsley and a milkweed plant so hopefully i can summon some butterflies to my porch!

I just realized that since I'm driving down to Roo solo, I CAN LISTEN TO ALL THE AUDIOBOOKS I WANT! I'm gonna be in total Grampa mode.
Whenever I roadtrip and get a rental car with satellite radio I listen to the classic radio show channel the whole time. Johnny Dollar, X-1, Sherlock Holmes, etc. So many great shows.

That is the correct answer. When I was driving down for SK, I got lucky and caught the entirety of when Woods came by to perform in studio.

I'm more of an Outlaw Country fan myself to absolutely no ones surprise

So I was in court this morning (on behalf of a client, not on my own behalf, that other matter got taken care of, not that that's any of your goddamn business) and the judge wants to set a trial date of June 15, 2015. NO WAY! I got plans next mid-June and every mid-June after that until I get so old and decrepit that I don't care any more (which I'm hoping is still many years away).
"I'm sorry you're honor. I'm not available that date. I have a pre-planned out-of-town gathering with friends." So he agrees to mid-July. Wooohooo!

I work a 4 day week (Tue-Fri) at my job. Whenever there is a holiday on Mondays, I have been just working shorter days Tuesday to Friday. I went to my boss's office today to remind her that I wouldn't be in until later on Tuesday because of this. She then told me that I could do that or take an extra day off and then work 30 minutes over the other three days to make up the difference. Needless to say, my three day weekend just became a four day weekend. Woo!

Yay of the day: Dropped the kiddos off with their Grandma yesterday, so sleeping in is now an option for the next few weeks--didn't wake up until 8AM this morning! Time to rearrange my sleep schedule for Roo!
