After being a pack a day smoker for 15 years, then cutting down to half pack to just a few a day within the past year, I have officially quit smoking them all together now. I haven't had one in 8 days. I finally found a nicotine vaporizer that actually satisfies the worse cravings (after eating and during the consumption of alcohol). I'm very happy to not smell like an a$$hole anymore.
Spill on the details of the vaporizer please. And GOOD FOR YOU!!!!

A friend of mine took me to this new shop in nola called smokecignals that makes their own custom flavors. They use the EGO-T model vaporizers. The starter kit comes with two batteries and two cartomizers: www.smokecignals.com/product_p/stv1100.htm I got some extra cartomizers though because I ended up getting a few flavors. My favorites is cantaloupe though. Second favorite is PB&J (peanut butter and strawberry jelly). I am using the 18mg strength right now, but I'm gonna go with 12mg strength liquids when I run out of these. Then eventually 6mg then 0mg. I believe there are several places selling these vaporizers, but what makes this shop unique is that they mix flavors in their shop to create new ones and have several that are not on the website yet because they are experimenting with what they can do. I tried one of those new ones called blue spot (blueberry, pineapple, and lime) and it is pretty awesome.

Thanks Much!! Going to check this out!! Have tried this before but the flavor is totally lacking.

No problem. You can probably e-mail them about special flavors that aren't on the website. That blue spot is wonderful. Earlier today one of the guys that works there said he's working on replicating a chicken and waffles flavor, a smores flavor, and a lavender-spearmint flavor. I'm definitely going to order some more of the PB&J...that stuff is amazing. The only flavor that I have tried of theirs that I didn't care for was the Tropicalia (coconut, pineapple, banana, and berries).
Oh yeah, I have another "YAY!" They're giving us a f'n bonus on our paycheck tomorrow. This is great because Wanee and Jazzfest took all my monies and I'm gonna need that mess for Hangout and Roo.
Got a new job! I'm pretty excited. Leaving for NYC on Wednesday for a few weeks. Then after that I will be in Chicago for a few. Looking forward to maybe catching some shows with some of ya! Only downside, as some of you already know, had to get a haircut as I have to look "respectable".
I started attending college at the University of Georgia in 2006, I was medically withdrawn from semesters due to invasive surgery in 2008, 2009, and 2011. In my final semester, this semester, I was advised again to take a medical withdrawal. Instead I opted to self-study at home, in bed, and submit multiple massive papers throughout the semester. Commencement was yesterday, but that did not excite me much for two reasons. One, I physically was still unable to attend and secondly, my grades for this semester were yet to be finalized so I knew not if I should even celebrate.
With that small book being stated, my Yay is the fact that my grades came in today and I finally have a B.A in Philosophy!!! Excited beyond belief, yet it still doesn't feel real. On top of that I get to see the almighty Clutch next week and it's only 32 days until we're all on the Farm!!!

Today is a Yay Day for sisters. One sister and her boyfriend came over today, so that he could tackle the lawn since both of my mowers have crapped out. My other sister got married this afternoon in a lovely little ceremony.

:happy-dance:Just ordered my tickets from the Street Team - So ready for Roo to be here
I just ordered a ticket from Street Team as well - not for myself but for someone else. Makes me feel sooo very happy to help others make the trip to Roo.
I missed the actual anniversary, but still worth noting: I put in my two weeks at my horrible job a year ago on May 11! It's probably weird to keep track of that, but it was a big turning point for me. Getting out of that horrible, low-paying job that I'd been in for 5 1/2 years was such a relief! I'm really happy with my current job and enjoy the work and the people. I just wanted to share that YAY ;D

I have a potential interview with an Audio/Video company comin' up! Sure it's not my ideal job, but it's closer to what I wanna do than server tables! I don't care that it's part time! But I'm a little nervous with 'Roo comin' up.

Most employers are completely cool if you tell them upfront that you have plans already paid for. See you at brunch
Yonder Mountain String Band playing in town, tix are only $25 dollars and my 12 year old son wants to go with. It's a trifecta Y'all are welcome to join us!
Life is good. Even though I'm not where I want to be and I've gained all this weight back I'm fortunate....blessed really....to not only have a roof over my head (and plenty of food apparently), but I can honestly say that I have friends.
Growing up I always wanted "real" friends and to my teenaged brain that meant perfect. No one is perfect and as I've grown and met so many people I really started to realize what a real friend was. It's hard to find a decent friend, let alone a good one, but I've been so blessed to have found a few. This board actually has some great potential friends brewing in my life.
I said that to say thank you guys. I have been pretty bummed post-festival about all things in my life and this place helped keep me sane. It's comforting to know there is a place like this on this planet. It's not perfect but there's love here and I dwell in lovey dovey goodness.
Yay for life. Sometimes I forget how truly good it is to just be alive and being surrounded by wonderful people make it that much better.
