Like I said in the cafe acts thread of 2010, Bonnaroo successfully encapsulates the feel of an intimate club show with their cafe acts. And its such a fantastic part of the festival that what makes it so good. So, what are your guy's wants for cafe acts this year?

i'd be surprised if cap 'n jazz was limited to a cafe and not a tent. they headlined forecastle last year.
i don't know yet who i want to see in the cafes. so many great acts over the years i've discovered or saw for the first time but had heard of like the whigs, jonah smith, will hoge, russian circles, fiction family, everest, joe pug, dawes, harper simon, colour revolt i think...the list goes on.
i'm usually only familiar with a few of the cafe acts every year, thats definitely the place to go to discover something new.
John: We don't even understand our own music Spider: It doesn't, does it matter whether we understand it? At least it'll give us . . . strength John: I know but maybe we could get into it more if we understood it
Phantogram please. Their album is amazing and they are great live. So far they have been playing to tiny crowds in tiny venues.
I am hoping they are in the same late night troo music spot Warpaint were in last year!
I think they're getting too big and would be a Thursday night band. They had a feature in SPIN, are opening for Dr. Dog right now and headlined Bowery Ballroom (not a huge place, but def not for a cafe act.) I think they'll play Thursday. Im hoping for them and Ra Ra Riot.
Mountain Man would be great to see; they'd fit in really well. It's like old time Americana folk primarily done acapella. And plus they do some great covers live- Joanna Newsom 'Baby Birch', Neutral Milk Hotel 'A Baby for Pree'.

I'm really anticipating the cafe adds.I probably saw more shows at Troo Lounge last year than any other stage. Here are a few I'd like to see.
Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit need to be there Tallest Man On Earth Fitz and The Tantrums Band Of Heathens Gary Clark Jr Sarah Jaffe Those Darlins Heavy Cream

no way in hell cap'n or esg would play a tent. huge YES to native, castevet and algernon though, I'm yet to see either of them live. what about grown ups, into it over it, my heart to joy, or snowing?
(although something tells me twinkly midwestern emo probably isn't too high on the booking priority list)
Emoney serves more of a purpose than any of you, especially Nate, whose incessant, garbled ramblings are so mindless and pointless that I get depressed just seeing them.
