Rob Riggle isn't even a correspondent with them anymore. It has nothing to do with the Daily Show brand other than the fact it's one current, and one former cast member. Don't read too much into it.
John Oliver is pretty easily their best correspondent and Rob Riggle was really good before he left. I'll be trying to go see this if it's at a decent time.

It's just a grouping - similar to when they did the "upright citizens brigade presents" thing. It's possibly they film a segment at the festival......I can't imagine why they wouldn't. but most likely it's just two or three comedians sharing a slot like they've done in the past.
east bound and down is a great show.. Love the line that will ferrel has about his son walking in on them making love and him telling his wife its ok let him watch.. how the hell did anyone keep a straight face during that part..
Kristen Schaal has also been doing segments for the Daily Show. I'm curious if she'll be involved.
I've been wondering that too. It seems odd that they'd have a Daily Show performance and not include her at all. Regardless, I hope they do film a segment for the show, I'm sure they could find some comedic gold out in the crowd.

John: We don't even understand our own music Spider: It doesn't, does it matter whether we understand it? At least it'll give us . . . strength John: I know but maybe we could get into it more if we understood it
