Any of you guys as excited about The Knux as I am? Their somtimes guitar based music is really reminiscent of the Beastie Boys, and they're just as quirky. And "Cappuccino"and "Bang! Bang!" are just out of this world.
You can stream their entire album at their myspace...
I told my buddies a few months ago to look out for these guys... They remind me of Outkast... Speaking of Outkast, how bought some Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik on the farm.
I'm glad someone else thinks they sound like Outkast. I definitely want to see these guys, I just hope they're not conflicting too bad.
I just looked up a youtube video of them opening for Shwayze with just a dj backing, and they looked like the most boring hip-hop group ever...I was severely disappointed. Then I video of them on the Jimmy Kimmel Show with a live backing band and full stage set up and they just got bumped to one of my higher must see sets.

I've been listening to every Bonnaroo artist I could find, since I decided to go, and The Knux have DEFINITELY got my attention. If you haven't checked these out, please do - feel good SELF-PRODUCED (real instruments played by the two rappers themselves) old-school style Hip-Hop. Couldn't get any doper that this
anybody associated with music that has the line "i need a fresh cappacino with a mocha twist" in a song, deserves to be bowed down to. their cd is awesome.
its bands like them that make me love bonnaroo. had i not researched them, id never know their greatness

Time Warner has the "Bang Bang" video available on one of their On Demand stations and we watched it the other days -- it is like a more enjoyable "Beat It" -- and I'm totally intrigued!
I am really torn with The Knux vs Portugal. The Man... They are definitely different, and I have been listening to both a lot. I am thinking that The Kunx might win out only because Portugal. The Man will be on the solar stage later in the weekend... I really don't know!!
I was lying in a burned out basement With the full moon in my eyes. I was hoping for replacement When the sun burst thru the sky. There was a band playing in my head And I felt like getting high.

hell yeah im stoked for the knux. group is so good! if youre able too you should also catch MURS and people under the stairs that same day. those three sets are def my favorite block of artists goin on.
Garth Algar: Do you ever get the feeling Benjamin's just using us?
Wayne Campbell: Good call. It's like he wants us to be liked by everyone. I mean Led Zeppelin didn't write tunes everybody liked. They left that to the Bee Gees.
