And just to keep thinking other things, I'm thinking Spanish since you guys said he almost read it in a Spanish accent.
meal in Spanish would be "comida" (it's the same as the word for food) breakfast is desayuno lunch is almuerzo dinner is cena
All I can get from there is that if you misspell "almuerzo" as "almuerto" then the end of it would be "muerto"...or "dead." But um, yeah. (I'm going to regret mentioning THAT one....)
could a perfect ending be a SIESTA ?? (spanish themed)
Should we explore this one further? He said someone was very close so that implies a guess was never made maybe?
Mill = meal? It was mentioned that BBQ is a misspelled word; there was also the use "mispailed," which someone insinuated meant a Southern accent.
Now, if you're eating BBQ (a misspelled meal) and it's hot (some people's ideal, hence the "perfect")... could that possibly leave you with FLAMING LIPS at the end?
I still feel like the dessert > desert angle is right. He did say he was impressed when we were guessing in that direction. just not sure where to go from there (except tinariwen)

Did we explore the fact that on the Bonnaroo twitter it said "mispailed" and not "misspelled"? I mean, someone said it could have been to show some sort of twang to the talk, but I dunno, I think it needs some looking into.
edit: hmm, mispailed...maybe as in put into the wrong pail, or bucket...Buckethead. Please someone make that fit. Ooh! Ooh! Perfect ending = the funeral sticker he wears on the bucket?
