How many CD's do normal people keep in their cars and do they trade them out on a regular basis? Come to think of it - how many CD's does a normal person have?

Well, I don't consider myself normal when it comes to music... but here's what i have roughly.
64 CDs in car, never change them out No idea how many CDs total
I've converted to the ipod world though... Even have an FM Adapter so I can listen to it in my car, hence those 64 CDs are useless. I have like 13,000 songs or something like that on my ipod, so who knows how many CDs that is...
as for the CD situation - I have an mp3 player - it holes about 150 songs - nothing extreme - my kids will end up with iPods before I will - I have been looking at one of those FM adaptors - which one do you have - I have been looking at the Belkin FM adaptor

You can't control strum, duh!
Anyway...I think I have like 70 cd's in my car (2 overhead holders that hold 10, 1 full case of 40 and 1 case of 10) and then I also use my (full) 30 gig iPod. But I am also a music freak...I can't function without it!

something similar to this... mine wasn't that expensive though so I don't know what the difference is. I wouldn't recommend it. The fact that the ipod is stationary while it's playing can be very difficult to change songs while driving...

I have the iTrip (haha, I know I know) FM Transmitter and I love it. Easy to change songs, I can pick any station, and it charges my iPod while it's plugged in. Worth the $70, easy.

Haha, well...at least you're safe inside. My university loves to hold classes during tornado warnings...it's actually happened 4 times since I've been at school. I've had to take a test with the sirens going off, and one time we were sitting in class and the sirens started going off....the professor looked up and just said, "We have 5 more minutes."
I swear, the school wouldn't close if it were on fire.

I dunno...I think the ones that A) Plug into your car and B) Don't plug into your headphone jack are better. It's a better sound if it plugs into the bottom instead. I had a belkin tunecast for awhile and I didn't really like it

Why do people insist on solving important issues via facebook/text message? If you're mad at me, just call me. Text-fighting (or facebook fighting, for that matter) is stupid.

^^^I wonder the same thing sometimes. Funny story about it though (I seem to have a story about everything... I know. eventful life I s'pose...)
Summer after I graduated high school this guy accuses me of hooking up with his g/f. I barely even knew his g/f, much less found her attractive or anything. He would constantly send me threatening IMs and text messages on my phone telling me that if he ever saw me again he'd beat my arse major. Now, I'm roughly 6'5" and pushing 230 pounds or so... no small dude. This kid, however, I would probably guess to be 140 pounds if that. I never replied to any of his IMs or text messages because I didn't want to sink down to his level. Rather, I found out where he lived and just showed up at his door one day. He was so caught off guard he took off running away from his own house. I hadn't shown up to fight, rather just to tell him to quit wasting my time. Apparently, he thought otherwise and then filed a police report saying I assaulted him, in which I kindly printed up all the IMs I had recieved from him as well as showed the officers the text messages on my phone and they laughed at the kid and said "son, I'm surprised you still have a head attached to you... pick on someone your own size next time" and left.
The fact that the ipod is stationary while it's playing can be very difficult to change songs while driving...
That was basically my problem with the ipod mini. I'm too indecisive about my music, I change it around constantly - depending on my mood and such. I actually prefer to stick to my hundreds of cds because I find them much easier to switch in and out. I probably have about 60 in my car. I actually like burning cds better than updating my ipod, but that might be because it's an older ipod player and all the kinks hadn't been worked out. Plus i keep music on more than one computer and with ipod players they only let you use one.
I really only use my ipod when I travel or hanging out somewhere by myself like a coffee shop or something

well - I went and bought it - if I don't like it after this weekend - i will just return it on Monday - works for me - I can try it out
To have enough money in the bank account to pay a bill the day it comes in the mail instead of having to wait until payday and then figuring out which bills HAVE to be paid and wich can slide for another week.

that's just asking too much.
I feel your pain. I just got paid today and from rent and bills I have $14.75 left in my bank account until two weeks from now.

think I have a little more - but not by much - the only reason I bout the FM Transmister thing is because I have a charge card for the BX here in the hospital.

I just traded in my old Ericsson cell phone for a brand new Razor. The guy at the store told me my old phone was really complicated and difficult and that I would absolutely love the Razor. It was cheap, so I bought it. After spending 10 minutes playing with it, I already had a hunch I'd hate it. Now, after a few hours playing with it even more, I have this uncontrollable desire to slam it against a wall... because, according to the salesman, I can do that without ruining the phone.
Here's what my old "complicated" phone could do that my Razor cant (or atleast I haven't figured out yet): -Record sounds: All the ringtones offered on this phone suck and make me want to tie a noose around my neck. Same was true with my old phone, but with that I could turn up my speakers really loud and record a part of a song and then set that as a ringtone. Problem solved. Absolutely free. With this razor, I have to download decent ringtones, which costs money, which I don't particularly want to do.
-Search through address book. When I want to call my friend Steve, I want to go to the addy book, type in S and then T then E and then scroll one or two spots to Steve. I don't want to have to hit S and then scroll through however many names I have that begin with S between Sam and Steve. In all fairness, maybe I can change the settings on my phone to do this, but I haven't figured out how yet. Either way, it should be default. There's no reason someone would prefer to do it their way.
That's it, but honestly, all I ever want in a phone is that it be easy and work. I don't care about mp3s or cameras because I have separate devices that work better for those than any phone ever will. This Razor sucks, and I've decided I'm giving it a week for me to get used to it before I go back and trade in a new phone for an "old complicated piece of crap" according to my salesman today. grrr...

STRUM!!!! - don't hate the phone - go to phonezoo.com - FREE ringtones - AND - any MP3 you have on your computer or can put on your computer can be converted into a ringtone - you can even pick WHICH part of the song you want for a ringtone.
It is a great thing - Boz and I both have the L6 which is identical to the SLVR but without the MP3 player - we loves ours.

well - that sucks - I have AT&T - so I can access the web and just pay per usage and since it does not take much data to tranfer a ringtone - it is only about $1.00 per ringtone-----did you know that since you have bluetooth capability - if you have a friend that has ringtones that you like - you can bluetooth the two phones and get the ringtones from a friend?
