I love my Saturday routine. Get off work around 12pm, come home, get reasonably medicated, eat, watch tv/surf net for about an hour and crash out around 3pm and wake up whenever.

Never spend a weekend alone watching sad romantic comedies... Science of Sleep, Chasing Amy... Garden State next... Gotta go outside, breathe a little air, feel alive a bit before going to the next one...
I know, it's a beautiful day... But I've spent every day for the last week chilling outside... Now it's time for me to chill inside and "relax" with some quality pipe time.
He goes each year...actually they take turns. Christopher Eccleston went last year. Maybe David Tennant will be there this year. But my heart belongs to Tom Baker

here's a random thought:
Why is it that on national holidays that matter, such as today, Memorial Day, or the Fourth of July, that Americans feel it necessary to go shopping and not celebrate reasons that this is a free godd*mn country? First off, I work in retail store, and today was just insane busy, not just average Saturday busy, but X-mas busy. Mindblowing. If I woulda been off, I would have been relaxing with my family, drinkin some tasty brews, grilling out all day, and enjoying & celebrating in remebrance of the fallen soldiers who lost their lives to make this a free country. Why is it that on holidays that are not something we truly need to celebrate, such as Halloween, or even holidays having little to do with American culture like St. Pattys Day, or Cinco De Mayo, do most Americans feel it necessary to go all out for a holiday they truly dont understand? You would think something as simple as, remembering soldiers who gave their lives for you, or the day the country became free would be easy to figure out. Right? All and all, I've come to the conclusion that: Americans priorites are f*cked. Anyways, I've had a rrreeaaall long day, and I am working on my third beer right now, and the grill is just gettin warmed up, Smite me, Exalt me, do what you must, but that has been eating at me all day, and I needed to let it out somewhere.....Cheers!
HoodooOperator-I am with you. I work retail. Yesterday just happened to be my day off since I worked the weekend. But guess what I did? Went shopping!!!!! Sorry. I needed new bras. But I did go home and chill with the hubby, food, and remote control.

My boss tells me in a non-chalant kind of way this morning how his nephew was telling him how wild Bonnaroo is. He knows how mental I am over it so he thinks it would be funny to repeatedly tell me that he would really like to check it out next year. I told him that if he even thought about entering the state of Tennessee, I would quit, right then and there. I know he's only joking but that's seriously not funny. That's like taking your mom to a strip club...wait, I've done that.
