dude me too! Traffic on the highway was goin like 20 mph at max and people were still hydroplaning like madmen and it was just a huge mess in general. It really blows.

This beer is well deserved

I'm about 3 beers in, right? Just loaded some dishes to wash... water starts pouring in through my back fucking door.

My whole downstairs is flooded... we're just now getting the lenolium dry, and the carpet seems ruined... about 3 inches worth of water.

One thing is good, though... we got all the electronics unplugged (Wii, TV, cable box, dvd/vcr etc.), so we didn't get electrocuted!!!

Screw the rain... I need more beer, goddamn it.

I just tore out part of the door frame yesterday that had been rotting away and filled and caulked it and all but knowing me it probably wasn't done 100% correct so there's probably a small lake in the basement right now. I really don't even want to think about it though..

Well this morning came and I decided it was finally time to go down and see what the damage was in the basement. To my surprise, no water leaked in whatsoever, but my repair work on the outside was ruined, so I'm just gonna have to redo that.

Overall a big success though! Woooooo! I kinda think I'm gonna have a celebratory beer now to even out the misery brews from last night
