So I get home from my classes at around 10:30 at night. Then I use the fact that I have to do homework as an excuse to drink (because that's logical, right?) I invented a yummy new drink tonight. Vodka, grapefruit, and mango nectar. The nectar's a little thick, but as long as the juice is there, it's all good. Yummy....
My friend I'm in the same boat. My unemployment money ran out today. Last check. But....I have saved enough for Roo and I don't have to ask for time off from work. ;D
Oh...I forgot .....this is my first time on the drunk thread...I'm proud. I have been drinking Magic Hat #9.....by heart I'm a liquor drinker..but that stuff tastes quacking delicious.

I was in my early phish-loving days then..still in high school, and would never have been allowed to go to bonnaroo...but I don't even care now b/c I get to see phish there....it's so great!J!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

mmmm beer and the beach... That's something I haven't experienced since I graduated high school... err, I mean since I turned 21...
Anywho, I'm taking my cooler full of beer and going to the disc golf course to enjoy this lovely day, then headed to the local Festival in the Park to see Dickey Betts & Great Southern downtown this evening, with a few local bands opening up for them. Should be an excellent Saturday for me!
After my 6AM drinking binge last night I had to go to my nephews 3rd bday party and I am pretty sure I was still drunk when I woke up. I was the only one that didn't have a hangover today so I made them listen to Hall & Oates full blast on the way to the party. Hee Hee, I am evil.
I don't think I could ever move to another state where bars don't stay open until 6. That would be so weird to me.

Strum-- We're staying in a friend's parents condo for free... I believe we're coming back in July if you wanna join I love it so much, and I actually haven't burned all that much which is why I've always "hated" the beach. Just shit tons of freckles But yeah, back to the beer store we go!

It was a really good show! I would definitely check them out. I think the stand out of the show was the keyboarder from his band, Great Southern. He had some incredible vocal parts and really jammed the hell out of his keys at times. I'd definitely recommend it... One of the better shows I've seen lately for under $10

Scratch that earlier post... I is t-totally burned... And t-totally lit! Finishing off the weekend with Jager and Red Stripe ;D Burned and freckled or not, it has been an amazingly refreshing weekend. Now back to the 'Roo panic/excitement tomorrow.

Last night was a successful night.
I met an Appalachian Trail hiker from the heart of NYC. He was overwhelmed and in pure awe at the state of VA. Listened to a few of his stories and hooked him up with some trail supplies, and shared a few drinks with him afterwards.
I taught a friend the lighter-as-bottle-opener trick and he seems as though he'll be forever grateful. Then as I was about to be thrown into a pool I somehow thought mid-air to grab my phone and throw it in their yard before splashing in the water. That was a sight... it really must've been hilarious as a spectator to see 4 or 5 people trying to throw a 6'4" lanky b@stard as myself into a pool.
And now I'm about to go out and watch what looks to be a nice little thunderstorm roll in down the valley sittin' on a cooler of beer.
