Battles-Tonto My Morning Jacket - Golden Kanye West- random horrible freestyle that confuses even him mid line. Sigur Ros- The amazing blur of temporal awesomness that will be their show M. I. A - Bucky Done Gun
John: We don't even understand our own music Spider: It doesn't, does it matter whether we understand it? At least it'll give us . . . strength John: I know but maybe we could get into it more if we understood it
Man, I started typing a whole list of songs, until I realized it was ONE SONG, not one song per artist...so I guess it would have to be "Wagon Wheel" by Against Me!. I realize they didn't perform it originally, but it was their version that introduced me to the song. Ever since I listened to it while driving through the Cumberland Gap on my way to my first 'Roo in 06, I've desperately wanted to hear it on the farm. And since I missed OCMS last year, I'm hoping for another chance this year.
Hands down, OCMS is my favorite band.. and last year they were my number one, and they rocked. I'm pumped about Against Me! because I love the song Wagon Wheel, I didnt even know they covered it.

"Love need not be a command nor faith a dictum. I am my own god. We are here to unlearn the teachings of the church, state, and our educational system. We are here to drink beer. We are here to kill war. We are here to laugh at the odds and live our lives so well that Death will tremble to take us." — Charles Bukowski

It's definitely got to be either Dondante, Wordless Chorus, or I Will Sing You Songs by MMJ. I just started getting into their music about 2 months ago and I can't wait to see their set at Roo. Besides MMJ, I'm also looking foward to almost all of Pearl Jam, Allman Bros., and also Metallica if they stick to the old stuff.
Oh man it would be soooo awsome to see W.M.A live but unfortunatley I think they have only played it live a handful of times.
Other rare PJ songs that I would love to hear are No Way (Not holding my breath), All those Yesterdays (Maybe, just maybe), Dirty Frank, Rival or You Are. If they play just one of those then I am going to be very very happy, heck Im going to be very very happy no matter what they play.
Battles, anything from them, I just started listening to them and it makes me smile when I think about seeing them at 'ROO!!! Pearl Jam- "Black", one of my all time favorite songs!!
