That's not an argument starter, it's simply bringing something to your attention: You don't know if he is has been or knows anyone, lost anyone, or never has been addicted. So don't pass judgment like that. It's a big middle finger to the person your speaking to, and more disrespectful to the LIVING than he was towards the dead.

Not an argument starter? Yeah okay. Have a clue will you.
"Sorry. I have no respect for junkies who can't handle their sh!t. If you love Slovac so much why don't you marry him. Oh, you can't, because he's DEAD!"
Why would someone who has been affected by addiction say something like that? Yeah that was a real big middle finger I gave him and oh so disrespectful for making the assumtion that this guy probably does not UNDERSTAND what addiction is. I have been going to NA meetings twice a week for the past year of my life. I think I am safe to make my own assumptions regarding this matter.
lol, no, and I see what you mean after this little discussion... but that's just me, some people have dark humor like that, even some addicts I know are thoughtless and careless of other addicts' downfalls.
I personally wouldn't say anything like that (love ya, Stallion, just making a point here ) even if his death weren't no no word related. But that's just me.

Good talk. I am glad we see each others points of view because I understand the whole dark humor thing and chances are I did take it a little too far in a thread that if anything should not of been about bashing Patton but for the people who do enjoy him. I honestly have never listened to him much just because I am a loyal peppers fan and when an issue involving one of my favorite bands and a subject like addiction that is very important to me I can get carried away. Sorry if I may of offended you or Stallion.

i love Patton. he's always been an outsider compared to mainstream artists. the fact the he has a dark and twisted sense of humor is another thing that makes him unique. of course no one would care if he wasn't such an amazing singer. that's right, AMAZING SINGER and musician. thats all that really counts for anything.
mr. bungle has been declared dead by mike in interviews. won't happen. however, a faith no more reunion might happen one day. i hope so. and if so, they MUST have Jim Martin playing guitar. no other way. but Mike Patton is always looking forward by making new music. so if he performs it will be with his newest project.
i saw FNM on the Angel Dust tour. one of the best concerts ever!!
I absolutely adore California but i havent been able to warm up to any other bungle album. I love lovage and the Peeping Tom album is next on my list to buy. I hope Im able to see him live in some form before my demise but I doubt it'll be at Roo.
I'd still go see a FNM reunion without Jim Martin. It would be nice to see him but they still released one of their best albums (King for a Day, Fool for a Lifetime) without him. Either way would be killer.
